जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में पिछले 2 दिन हुई भारी बारिश ने भारी तबाही मचाई है। बारिश से आम जन जीवन जहां प्रभावित हुआ है। बारिश और बादल फटने की वजह से दो दिन में अब तक प्रदेश में 16 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। जगह-जगह सड़के ध्वस्त हो गई है। कहीं मकान जमींदोज हो गए हैं तो कहीं नदियां मकान अपने साथ बहा कर ले गई है। इस सब के बीच मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी लगातार हो रही बारिश को लेकर अलर्ट मोड में नजर आ रहे हैं।
मंगलवार सुबह भी मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने राज्य आपदा कंट्रोल रूम पहुंचकर अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की। उन्होंने रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन के लिए वायु सेना की भी मदद मांगी है। हवाई सेना के तीन हेलीकॉप्टर रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में जुटी है, जिनमें से 2 हेलीकॉप्टर कुमाऊं और एक हेलीकॉप्टर गढ़वाल में तैनात होगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश की जनता से अपील भी की है कि इस समय घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है। सरकार पूरी तरह से प्रदेश वासियों के साथ खड़ी है। किसी भी आपदा कु स्थिति से निपटने के लिए सरकार पूरी तरह तैयार है।
आपदा सचिव एमए मुरुगेशन का कहना है कि राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों के लिए टीम जुट गई है। नैनीताल जिले में बादल फटने से ज्यादा नुकसान हुआ है। वहीं रामनगर में कुछ लोगों के नदी किनारे फंसे होने की सूचना है, जिन्हें रेसक्यू किया जा रहा है।
