जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो देहरादून/हरिद्वार: उत्तराखंड में विधानसभा चुनाव की गतिविधियों पर विशेष नजर बनाते हुए स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स ने शनिवार देर शाम हरिद्वार जनपद में कई स्थानों पर छापेमारी की है। इस दौरान 4 करोड़ से ज्यादा पुरानी करेंसी बरामद की गई है। एसटीएफ ने मामले में आधा दर्जन लोगों को हिरासत में लिया है।

हिरासत में लिए गए लोगों से की गई प्रारम्भिक पूछताछ में एसटीएफ को जानकारी मिली है कि अवैध तरीके से चुनावी माहौल को बिगाड़ने, इनकम टैक्स चोरी, ब्लैक मनी और हवाला चैनल जैसे मामलों के परिपेक्ष में एसटीएफ हिरासत में लिए लोगों से पड़ताल कर रही है. इतना ही नहीं इस मामले में एसटीएफ द्वारा सभी संबंधित एजेंसियों को भी सूचित किया जा रहा है.

एसटीएफ एसएसपी अजय सिंह के मुताबिक अभी प्रारंभिक जांच पड़ताल और पूछताछ की जा रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि छापेमारी में 4 करोड़ से अधिक की पुरानी करेंसी बरामद हुई है, जिसमें 1000 और 500 के नोट बरामद किए गए हैं। ये रुपए कहां से आए और इसका किससे संबंध है इस बारे में जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है।
