जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून/नई दिल्ली। उत्तराखंड में बहुचर्चित कुंभ-कोविड जांच घोटाले में मैक्स कॉरपोरेट सर्विसेज के पार्टनर शरत पंत और उसकी पत्नी मलिका पंत को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। एसआइटी की एक टीम दोनों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए दिल्ली में डेरा डाले हुए थी। दोनों को उनके आवास से गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
बता दें कि कुंभ 2021 में आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं के लिए कोरोना टेस्ट रिपोर्ट अनिवार्य की गई थी। हरिद्वार की सीमाओं पर और कुंभ क्षेत्र में जगह-जगह कोरोना टेस्टिंग के लिए मेला स्वास्थ्य विभाग की ओर से इंतजाम किए गए थे। कुंभ में टेस्टिंग का ठेका लेने वाली मैक्स कारपोरेट सर्विसेज दिल्ली ने बड़े पैमाने पर फर्जी टेस्ट कर सरकार को करोड़ों रुपए का चूना लगाया।
इसमें दूसरे राज्यों के ऐसे लोगों का भी कोरोना टेस्ट दर्शा दिया गया, जो कभी हरिद्वार गए ही नहीं थे। हालांकि ऐसी फर्जी रिपोर्ट बनाते हुए ये ध्यान रखा गया कि जांच रिपोर्ट में निगेटिव लिखा जाएगा। ताकी कोई संबंधित व्यक्ति इस पर ज्यादा ध्यान न दे।
ऐसी ही शिकायतों के आधार पर उत्तराखंड में प्रशासन ने जांच की। तब अनुमान लगाया गया कि करीब एक लाख लोगों की फर्जी जांच की गई। ये मामला हाईकोर्ट भी पहुंच गया है। साथ ही एसआइटी इस मामले की जांच कर रही है।
