जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने हाईपावर कमेटी की रिपोर्ट और उच्च स्तरीय कैबिनेट उपसमिति की रिपोर्ट को आधार बनाकर देवस्थानम बोर्ड को भंग करने को लेकर बयान जारी किया है। जिसके बाद चारों धामों के तीर्थ पुरोहितों में नया उत्साह नजर आ रही है। इस दिन को ऐतिहासिक बनाने के लिए तीर्थ पुरोहितों ने राज्य सरकार को बधाई भी दी है।

देवस्थानम बोर्ड बनाने का फैसला भाजपा की ही सरकार के पूर्व सीएम त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत के शासनकाल में हुआ था। त्रिवेंद्र सरकार का तर्क था ​कि बदरीनाथ, केदारनाथ, गंगोत्री, यमुनोत्री धाम समेत 51 मंदिर बोर्ड के अधीन आने से यात्री सुविधाओं का नए तरीके से विकास किया जाएगा।

इसके लिए तिरुपति बालाजी और बैष्णो देवी मंदिर श्राइन बोर्ड का भी हवाला दिया गया कि जिस प्रकार इन मंदिरों में सरकार विकास कर रही है, वैसे ही उत्तराखंड में 51 मंदिरों में नया इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर और विकास का रोडमैप तैयार होगा। लेकिन तीर्थ पुरोहितों का कहना था कि इन मंदिरों और चारधामों के मंदिर की भौगोलिक परिस्थितियां बिल्कुल अलग हैं।

पहाड़ में इस तरह से अवस्थापना विकास नहीं हो सकता, जिस तरह दूसरे मंदिरों में हैं। जिसके बाद तीर्थ पुरोहितों ने अपना आंदोलन तेज कर दिया। त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत की सीएम पद से छुट्टी होने के बाद नए सीएम तीरथ सिंह रावत ने भी जनभावनाओं के अनुरूप देवस्थानम बोर्ड निर्णय लेने की बात कही थी, लेकिन उनके समय कम होने के कारण उनके कार्यकाल में देवस्थानम बोर्ड पर सरकार आगे नहीं बढ़ पाई।

युवा सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी को कमान मिली तो पुरोहितों ने शुरूआत से ही बोर्ड को भंग करने की मांग शुरू कर दी। धामी ने चुनावी साल में इसका नफा नुकसान देखते हुए पूर्व सांसद मनोहर कांत ध्यानी की अध्यक्षता में हाईपावर कमेटी का गठन किया। इस समिति में चारधामों के तीर्थ पुरोहितों को भी शामिल किया, जिसके बाद समिति ने अपनी अंतिम रिपोर्ट सरकार को सौंपी।

समिति की रिपोर्ट का अध्ययन करने के लिए सीएम ने मंत्रिमंडलीय उप समिति का गठन किया और दो दिन में अपना फैसला सुनाने के निर्देश दिए। इसके बाद सोमवार शाम को मंत्रिमंडलीय उप समिति ने अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपकर बोर्ड को भंग करने की सिफारिश कर दी। जिसके बाद मंगलवार सुबह ही सीएम ने बोर्ड को भंग करने की घोषणा कर दी।
