गुरुवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बहुउद्देशीय क्रीडा भवन, परेड ग्राउंड, देहरादून में उत्तरांचल राज्य बैडमिंटन एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित ’उत्तराखण्ड राज्य सीनियर बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता’ का शुभारंभ किया। यह प्रतियोगिता 21 अगस्त 2022 तक चलेगी। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने स्वयं बैडमिंटन खेल खिलाड़ियों का मनोबल बढ़ाया।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मौजूद सभी खिलाड़ियों को उनके भविष्य हेतु शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चे खेल की विभिन्न विधाओं में सराहनीय प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। प्रदेश के खिलाड़ी आज विश्व पटल पर राज्य एवं देश का नाम रोशन कर रहे हैं। हमारे खिलाड़ियों ने अपने संकल्प, इच्छा शक्ति और परिश्रम के आधार पर अच्छा मुकाम हांसिल किया है। खिलाड़ी अपने संघर्ष एवं मेहनत के बलबूते पर अपने सपनों को पूरा करते हैं। खिलाड़ी की सफलता से क्षेत्रवासियों, राज्यवासियों एवं देश की भावनाएं जुड़ती हैं, हजारों लोगों का आशीर्वाद उनके साथ होता है, एक खिलाड़ी की सफलता से अन्य खिलाड़ी भी प्रोत्साहित होते हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा उत्साह और उमंग से मनुष्य में ऊर्जा का संचार होता है, संकल्प एवं दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति ही हमें हमारी सफलता की ओर ले जाती हैं। उन्होंने कहा आज हर क्षेत्र में भारत लीडर के रूप में आगे बढ़ रहा है। नए भारत का निर्माण हो रहा है। हम अमृत काल में प्रवेश कर गए हैं। इस अमृत काल में भारत एवं राज्य प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़े इसके लिए हम सभी ने अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को समझते हुए राष्ट्र के प्रति योगदान देना है। खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए राज्य में नई खेल नीति बनाई गई है। खिलाड़ियों की सुविधा अनुसार एवं उनके हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए समय-समय पर खेल नीति में और सुधार किये जायेंगे। नई खेल नीति में कई प्रावधान किए गए हैं, जिससे हमारे नौजवान खेल के क्षेत्र में नई बुलंदियां हासिल करें।
