जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून। मुख्य अभियंता स्तर-1 इं. प्रमोद कुमार को उत्तराखंड लोक निर्माण विभाग का नया प्रमुख अभियन्ता एवं विभागाध्यक्ष बनाया गया है। वह वर्तमान में मुख्य अभियंता राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग का कार्यभार संभाल रहे थे। उन्हें वर्तमान पदभार के साथ-साथ पीडब्ल्यूडी के एचओडी का प्रभार सौंपा गया है। इस सम्बंध में सचिव लोक निर्माण विभाग आरके सुधांशू ने कल दे शाम को आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं।

बता दें कि विभागाध्यक्ष के पद पर हरिओम शर्मा 30 सितम्बर को रिटायर हो गए हैं। वह तीन माह के एक्सटेंशन पर थे। 30 जून को वह पद से रिटायर हो गए थे। लेकिन शासन ने उन्हें तीन माह का एक्सटेंशन दे दिया था। एक्सटेंशन की अवधि भी 30 सितंबर को पूरी हो गई थी।

नए प्रभारी प्रमुख अभियन्ता एवं विभागाध्यक्ष प्रमोद कुमार ने आज शुक्रवार को कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया है। इस दौरान उन्होंने सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को ईमानदारी से कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्माण कार्यों को समय पर पूरा किया जाए। निर्माण कार्यों में किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।
