शनिवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव के तहत ’उज्ज्वल भारत उज्ज्वल भविष्य – पावर @ 2047’ के समापन समारोह कार्यक्रम में पुनर्निर्मित वितरण क्षेत्र योजना का शुभारंभ किया। एनटीपीसी की विभिन्न हरित ऊर्जा परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास तथा लोकार्पण एवं नेशनल रूफटॉप सोलर पोर्टल को भी प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा लांच किया गया। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मुख्यमंत्री आवास स्थित मुख्य सेवक सदन में इस कार्यक्रम में वर्चुअल प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम में केन्द्रीय मंत्री, विभिन्न राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री भी जुड़े थे।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में बीते आठ वर्षों में देश का मान-सम्मान पूरी दुनिया में बढ़ा है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अनेक नए कार्यों की शुरुआत हुई है। एक नई कार्य संस्कृति देश में आई है। कोरोना काल में पूरे विश्व की अर्थव्यवस्था गड़बड़ा गई थी, ऐसे समय में भी प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत ने कोरोना पर पूरी तरीके से नियंत्रण किया। भारत ने 02 स्वदेशी कोविड वैक्सीन तैयार की। अन्य देशों को भी भारत ने 20 करोड़ से अधिक वैक्सीन दी। भारत में कोविड की 200 करोड़ से अधिक वैक्सीन लगाई जा चुकी है। बूस्टर डोज का अभियान भी तेजी से चल रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में ऊर्जा मंत्रालय द्वारा कई योजनाएं चलाई जा रही हैं। उत्तराखंड में भी कई परियोजनाओं को स्वीकृति मिली है। राज्य गठन के समय ऊर्जा और पर्यटन राज्य निर्माण की मूल अवधारणा में शामिल था। जिसको लेकर राज्य सरकार आगे बढ़ रही है। उन्होंने कहा 2025 तक प्रदेश को देश का अग्रणी राज्य बनाने के लिए सबकी सहभागिता जरूरी है। हाल ही राज्य में बिजली का संकट था, सरकार ने महंगी बिजली खरीद कर लोगों की बिजली आपूर्ति पूरी की गई।
इस अवसर पर मेयर सुनील उनियाल गामा, विधायक सविता कपूर, सचिव आर. मीनाक्षी सुंदरम, जिलाधिकारी देहरादून सोनिका, एमडी यूपीसीएल अनिल कुमार उपस्थित रहे।
