जनपक्ष टुडे संवाददाता, पौड़ी गढ़वाल। पौड़ी में थाना पैठाणी क्षेत्र के कुटकंडई गांव में पति ने पत्नी पर चाकू से हमला कर मौत के घाट उतार दिया। पिता की तहरीर पर हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज कर पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है। पत्नी पर हमले की वजह के सही कारणों का पता नहीं चल पाया है। हालांकि प्रारंभिक जांच में आपसी झगड़ा वजह मानी जा रही है। घटना शनिवार रात की बताई गई है। मौके पर फोरेसिंक टीम को बुलाते हुए आरोपी से पूछताछ की जा रही है।

पौड़ी के सीओ प्रेम लाल टम्टा ने बताया कि तहसील चाकीसैंण के गांव कुटकंडई निवासी जसवीर सिंह ने शनिवार रात को पत्नी अर्चना देवी 24 साल पर चाकू से हमला कर दिया। जसवीर गांव के पास में ही किराए की दुकान चलाता है और शनिवार को अर्चना पर दुकान में ही उसने चाकू से हमला बोल दिया। उस वक्त वहां और कोई नहीं था।

घटना के बारे में जसवीर ने ही अपने बड़े भाई को बताया। मौके पर जब पुलिस और ग्रामीण पहुंचे तो अर्चना की मौत हो चुकी थी और उसका शव खून से सना दुकान के अंदर ही पड़ा था। सीओ ने बताया कि चाकू से जांघ पर हमला किया गया। समय से अर्चना को अस्पताल भी नहीं ले जाया गया। घटना की सूचना पर महिला के मायका पक्ष भी यहां पहुंचा। अर्चना के पिता गबर सिंह निवासी ईडा ने पुलिस को तहरीर दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि नवंबर 2015 में अर्चना की शादी हुई थी और और उसके दो बेटे हैं। मां की हत्या के बाद बच्चे बिलख रहे है।

पुलिस ने आरोपी को हिरासत में लेते हुए पूछताछ शुरू कर दी है। तहरीर पर आरोपी के खिलाफ हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया है। हत्या में प्रयुक्त चाकू बरामद करते हुए श्रीनगर से फोरेसिंक टीम भी मौके के लिए रवाना हो गई है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पीएम के लिए पौड़ी भेजा है। पुलिस टीम में थाना प्रभारी पैठाणी प्रताप सिंह सहित राजस्व पुलिस भी शामिल है।
