सिंचाई और जल विद्युत परियोजनाएं विश्वेश्वरैया की देन: ध्यानी

जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून। देश के महान इंजीनियर, अभियांत्रिकी के जनक और भारत रत्न सर मोक्षगुंडम विश्वेश्वरैया की जयंती पर मनाया जाने वाला अभियंता दिवस को प्रदेश भर में हर्षोउल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस दौरान अभियंताओं ने जगह-जगह संगोष्ठियां आयोजित कर विश्वेश्वरैया को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। साथ ही इस अवसर पर अभियंताओं ने रक्तदान शिविर भी आयोजित किये।

देश निर्माण में विश्वेश्वरैया का योगदान प्रासांगिक: ध्यानी

पावर ट्रांसमिशन कारपोरेशन लिमिटेड (पिटकुल) मुख्यालय में अभियंता दिवस पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ करते हुए प्रबंध निदेशक पीसी ध्यानी ने कहा कि अभियांत्रिकी और देश के विकास में स्व. विश्वेश्वरैया के योगदान को कभी भुलाया नहीं जा सकता।

उन्होंने राष्ट्र हित में जल संसाधनों के अत्याधिक इस्तेमाल की परिकल्पना के साथ ही अधिक से अधिक बांधों के निर्माण और सिंचाई परियोजनाओं के निर्माण में बहुमूल्य योगदान दिया है।  उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वेश्वरैया की दूरदर्शिता का ही परिणाम रहा कि देश में कई सिंचाई और जल विद्युत परियोजनाओं का निर्माण हुआ है, जिसने देश के विकास का नया रास्ता प्रशस्त किया है।

इससे पूर्व एमडी ध्यानी समेत उपस्थित सभी अभियंताओं ने स्व. विश्वेश्वरैया चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई।

उत्तराखंड डिप्लोमा इंजीनियर्स महासंघ ने अभियंता दिवस पर सद्भावना सभागार में कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। इस दौरान स्व. विश्वेश्वरैया को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए वक्ताओं ने कहा कि आज विकास की रफ्तार अभियांत्रिकी के माध्यम से तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है। कहा कि स्व. विश्वेश्वरैया ने जो सपना देखा था वह आज तकनीकियों के जरिये पूरी तरह से साकार हो रहा है।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि कैंट विधायक सविता कपूर और विशिष्ट अतिथि के महासंघ के संस्थापक अध्यक्ष एमएल नौटियाल के साथ ही महासंघ के प्रांतीय अध्यक्ष एसएस चौहान, निवर्तमान अध्यक्ष हरीश चंद्र नौटियाल, संरक्षक डीसी नौटियाल, महामंत्री मुकेश रतूड़ी और जनपद अध्यक्ष सुरेंद्र श्रीकोटी ने संयुक्त रूप से किया।

236 अभियंताओं ने किया रक्तदान
अभियंता दिवस पर संगोष्ठी के बाद डिप्लोमा इंजीनियर्स महासंघ से जुड़े अभियंताओं ने रक्तदान शिविर आयोजित किया। मुख्य अतिथि विधायक सविता कपूर ने रिबन काटकर रक्तदान शिविर का शुभारंभ किया।  महासंघ के पदाधिकारियों ने बताया कि इस दिन पर 1000 यूनिट ब्लड डोनेट करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। देहरादून में 236 यूनिट रक्तदान किया। इसके बाद सांस्कृतिक संध्या आयोजित की गई, जिसमें नन्हें-मुन्हें बच्चों से लेकर गढऱत्न नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी के लोकगीतों पर जमकर थिरके.

उत्तराखंड डिप्लोमा इंजीनियर्स महासंघ की शाखा ऋषिकेश ने भी महान अभियन्ता भारत रत्न सर स्व. एम. विश्वेश्वरैया का जन्मदिन अभियन्ता दिवस को  हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। होटल नीरज भवन रेलवे रोड ऋषिकेश में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संरक्षक, लोक निर्माण विभाग यूएस महर, विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में प्रान्तीय उपाध्यक्ष उत्तराखण्ड डिप्लोमा इंजीनियर्स महासंघ उपेन्द्र गोयल, प्रान्तीय महामंत्री लोक निर्माण विभाग छब्बील दास सैनी, प्रान्तीय महासचिव उत्तराखण्ड डिप्लोमा इंजीनियर्स संघ पेयजल निगम अजय बेलवाल आदि ने संबोधित किया।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता आशीष बिष्ट, शाखा अध्यक्ष डिप्लोमा इंजीनियर्स महासंघ और संचालनआशीष कोण्टल ने किया। अतिथियों ने संयुक्त रूप से द्वीप प्रज्वलन करने के उपरान्त भारत रत्न सर स्व. एम. विश्वेश्वरैया के साथ ही महासंघ के हृदय सम्राट आरके दत्ता और वक्ता और वीपी राय के चित्रों पर माल्यार्पण करते हुए उन्हें भावभीनी श्रद्धांजली अर्पित की। इसके बाद मुख्य अतिथि रक्तदान शिविर का रिबन काटकर उदघाटन किया। रक्तदान शिविर कार्यक्रम में महासंघ के सदस्यों ने 36 यूनिट रक्तदान किया।
इस दौरान डीपी गोनियाल ने एम. विश्वेश्वरैया की जीवनी पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम में उत्तराखन्ड डिप्लोमा इंजिनियर्स महासंघ के सेवानिवृत्त सदस्य अधिशासी अभियंता पेयजल निगम एके चतुर्वेदी, आरके सिंह,  वीके गोयल सेवानिवृत्त अधिशासी अभियंता लोनिवि, एमएम काला पीके जैन  वीके गर्ग, सेवानिवृत्त अधिशासी अभियंता सिंचाई विभाग, सुधीर मोहन ड्यूडी सेवानिवृत्त सहायक अभियंता ने प्रतिभाग किया। मुख्य अतिथि जी द्वारा समस्त सेवानिवृत्त सदस्यों को प्रतीक चिन्ह और शॉल भेंट कर सम्मान किया गया।
