– मुख्यमंत्री धामी समेत कई राजनीतिक दलों और सामाजिक संगठनों के पदाधिकारियों ने शोक संवेदना व्यक्त कर दी स्व. गुनसोला को श्रद्धांजलि

जनपक्ष टुडे संवाददाता, नई टिहरी। उत्तराखंड के पहले जल विद्युत उत्पादक, वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता और पूर्व जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष रतन सिंह गुनसोला का निधन हो गया। वह 85 वर्ष के थे। कुछ दिनों से वह बीमार चल रहे थे। शुक्रवार रात को देहरादून के एक प्राइवेट अस्पताल में उन्होंने इलाज के दौरान दम तोड़ दिया। वह अपने पीछे पत्नी, दो पुत्र और पुत्री का भरापूरा परिवार छोड़ गए।

गुनसोला के निधन पर भाजपा समेत कई राजनीतिक और सामाजिक संगठनों से जुड़े लोगों ने दुख जताया व्यक्त किया है। बता दें कि स्व. गुनसोला ने 1959 में इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा और 1973 में बीटेक किया था।

टिहरी ज़िले के जाखणीधार ब्लॉक के मैराब गांव में इंजीनियर रतन सिंह गुनसोला का जन्म जनवरी 1936 में हुआ था। शुरू से ही कुशाग्र बुद्धि के गुनसोला ने इंजीनियरिंग करने के बाद वन, सिंचाई और लोक निर्माण विभाग में करीब 33 वर्षों तक सेवाएं दीं। वह शुरू से ही उत्तराखंड में छोटी-छोटी जल विद्युत परियोजनाओं के निर्माण के पक्षधर थे। रन ऑफ द रिवर के तहत बिजली और सिंचाई से रोजगार के हमेशा ही हिमायती रहे।

स्व. गुनसोला का मानना था कि उत्तराखंड की नदियों में 35-40 हजार मेगावॉट बिजली बनाए जाने की संभावना है। 1995 में उन्होंने भिलंगना ब्लॉक के चानी बूढ़ाकेदार में गुनसोला हाईड्रोपॉवर जल विद्युत परियोजना की शुरुआत की थी। वह उत्तराखंड के पहले व्यक्ति थे, जिन्होंने पहाड़ में जल विद्युत परियोजना बनाई।

उधर, मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भी स्व. गुनसोला के निधन पर गहरा दुःख व्यक्त करते हुए उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। मुख्यमंत्री कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड के ऊर्जा पुरुष कहे जाने वाले रतन सिंह गुनसोला का निधन प्रदेश के लिए बड़ी क्षति है। सीएम ने कहा कि दो बार टिहरी जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष रहे गुनसोला को छोटी जल विद्युत परियोजनाओं का जनक माना जाता है। ईश्वर उनकी आत्मा को शांति दे और शोक संतृप्त परिवार को दुःख की इस घड़ी में सहन करने के लिए धैर्य शक्ति प्रदान करे।
