भगवान नागदेवता की डोली व कलश शोभायात्रा पारपंरिक वाद्य यंत्रों के साथ निकाली गई व रास्ते भर भक्तों ने नृत्य कर व भगवान शिव व नागदेवता के जयकारे लगाते हुए मंदिर तक पहुंचे जहां मंदिर समिति ने शोभा यात्रा का स्वागत किया व उसके बाद अपराहन से महाशिव पुराण कथा मुख्य व्यास प. नित्यानंद सेमवाल के साथ ही सुषमा सेमवाल व प्रशांत सेमवाल के तत्वाधान में आयोजित की गई। जिसका समापन दो अगस्त को नाग पंचमी के दिन भंडारे के साथ होगा।
इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता राकेश रावत और स्थानीय निवासी जितेंद्र सिंह रावत ने बताया ग्राम क्यारकुली भटटा की धरती नाग देवता की धरती है जो इस क्षेत्र का ईष्टदेव है। इस क्षेत्र में नाग पंचमी का पर्व धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है इससे पूर्व नौ दिनों मंदिर में शिव पुराण की कथा होगी जो नागपंचमी के दिन समाप्त होगी। इस मौके पर मुख्य पुजारी वीर सिंह ने बताया कि नाग पंचमी से नौ दिन पूर्व भगवान नाग देवता की पालकी व भव्य कलश यात्रा निकाली जाती है जिसमें आसपास के करीब एक दर्जन से अधिक ग्राम पंचायतों के श्रद्धालु शामिल होते है व नाग देवता की डोली के दर्शन कर शोभायात्रा में पैदल चल कर पुण्य कमाते हैं वहीं इसमें मसूरी, देहरादून व अन्य शहरों से भी बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु आते हैं। नाग मंदिर में नौ दिनों तक पालकी की पूजापाठ होगी व नाग पंचमी के दिन पूजा अर्चना के बाद पालकी अपने मूल थान में वापस चली जायेगी। नाग पंचमी के दि नही महाशिव पुराण कथा का समापन भी होगा व भंडारे का आयोजन
