जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून। कांग्रेस पार्टी विधानसभा चुनाव में बागी प्रत्याशियों को माने में जुटी है। आज पार्टी ने ऋषिकेश सीट से निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ रहे पूर्व मंत्री शूरवीर सिंह सजवाण को मना लिया है। कांग्रेस ने उन्हें प्रदेश कार्रकारी अध्यक्ष बनाया है। इसके बाद उन्होंने इस सीट से पार्टी प्रत्याशी के पक्ष में नाम वापस ले लिया है।

प्रदेश प्रभारी देवेंद्र यादव की ओर से जारी नियुक्ति पत्र में कहा गया है कि  कांग्रेस पार्टी में आपकी वरिष्ठता एवं पार्टी के प्रति निष्ठा व संगठनात्मक अनुभव के मद्देनजर पार्टी शीर्ष नेतृत्व द्वारा आपको उत्तराखण्ड प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी का कार्यकारी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है। साथ ही आपको विधानसभा चुनाव 2022 में को-चेयरमैन, चुनाव अभियान समिति (गढवाल मण्डल) की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी जाती है।
