देशभर के साथ साथ उत्तराखंड में भी 75वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस सोमवार को धूमधाम से मनाया गया। स्कूलों और कार्यालयों में तिरंगा फहराया गया। स्कूलों में प्रभात फेरी निकालने के बाद सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। विभिन्न स्थानों पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज तिरंगा आन, बान और शान के साथ फहराया गया।
जहां मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने तिरंगा फहरा कर प्रदेशवासियों को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं दीं। इसके बाद वह ग्रीष्मकालीन राजधानी गैरसैंण गए और यहां भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (सेनि) ने राजभवन में राष्ट्रध्वज फहराया।
राज्यपाल ने इस दौरान देश व प्रदेश वासियों को शुभकामनाएं दी व राजभवन कर्मचारियों से भेंट कर मिष्ठान वितरित किया। उन्होंने आजादी के 75 वर्ष पूरे होने पर स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानियों एवं शहीद जवानों को नमन किया।
कहा कि देश उनके योगदान को कभी भुला नहीं सकता। कहा कि आने वाले 25 वर्षो में प्रत्येक हिंदुस्तानी को पूरी निष्ठा से देश को विश्व गुरु बनाने की दिशा में प्रयास करना होगा।
गढ़वाल सांसद तीरथ सिंह रावत ने बदरीनाथ मंदिर, आईटीबीपी कैम्प, शेषनेत्र झील के पास झंडा रोहण किया। वह देश के अंतिम गांव माणा में पहुंचे और हिन्दुस्तान की अंतिम दुकान में पहुंचे।
ऋषिकेश तहसील में उप जिलाधिकारी शैलेंद्र सिंह नेगी ने राष्ट्रध्वज फहराया। इस अवसर पर तहसील की ओर से स्वाधीनता संग्राम सेनानियों के स्वजन, बलिदानी सैनिकों के स्वजन तथा विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उल्लेखनीय कार्य करने वाले नागरिकों को सम्मानित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर स्कूली बच्चों ने भी सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों की प्रस्तुति दी। इस अवसर पर तहसीलदार डा. अमृता शर्मा भी मौजूद रही। नगर निगम ऋषिकेश में महापौर अनीता मंगाई ने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया।
मसूरी में पालिकाध्यक्ष अनुज गुप्ता द्वारा गांधी चौक में सार्वजनिक ध्वजारोहण किया गया। इस मौके पर पूर्व पालिकाध्यक्ष मनमोहन सिंह मल्ल, ओपी उनियाल, पालिका ईओ यूडी तिवारी, सभासद दर्शन रावत, गीता कुमाईं, जसबीर कौर, सरिता देवी, नगर स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी सहित विभिन्न सामाजिक और राजनैतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधि और नगर के गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित थे।
लैंसडौन में ग्राम डेरियाखाल में समाजसेवी स्व. लीलानंद लखेड़ा की प्रतिमा में पहली बार सार्वजनिक रूप से ध्वाजारोहण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में होटल एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों समेत सदस्यों व ग्रामीणों ने बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद थे।
उत्तरकाशी में स्वतंत्रता दिवस की 75 वीं वर्षगांठ आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव पर स्कूली छात्र छात्राओं ने प्रभात फेरी निकाली। सुबह से ही उत्तरकाशी, चिन्यालीसौड़, डुंडा, ब्रह्मखाल, बड़कोट, पुरोला, नौगां, डामटा आदि स्थानों पर प्रभातफेरी निकाली गई। उत्तरकाशी जिला मुख्यालय में शहर की गली और मुख्य सड़क देशभक्ति के नारे से गूंजती रही।
