युवा मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में भाजपा की इस जीत में सबसे बड़ी भूमिका रही उत्तराखंड में संचालित की जा रही केंद्रीय परियोजनाओं की। वर्ष 2017 में यहां भाजपा ने तीन-चौथाई से अधिक बहुमत के साथ सरकार बनाई थी। इसके बाद केंद्र व राज्य में, दोनों जगह भाजपा सरकारों के होने का सीधा लाभ उत्तराखंड को मिला। पिछले पांच वर्षों के दौरान उत्तराखंड में इस डबल इंजन के सहारे एक लाख करोड़ से अधिक की विकास परियोजनाएं संचालित हो रही हैं। विधानसभा चुनाव में भाजपा को सीधे तौर पर इसका लाभ मिला। यही कारण है कि इस बजट में धामी सरकार ने केंद्र की प्राथमिकताओं के प्रति अपने दृढ़ संकल्प को प्रदर्शित किया है। भाजपा ने चुनाव के समय जो वायदे किए थे, उन्हें पूरा करने की दिशा में कदम बढ़ते दिखाई दे रहे हैं।
