जनपक्ष टुडे संवाददाता, पौड़ी गढ़वाल: श्रीनगर विधानसभा के लिए कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल ने आज नामांकन दर्ज किया। नामांकन दर्ज करने के बाद उन्होंने कर्मचारियों को बड़ी सौगात देने की बात कही। कहा कि यदि कांग्रेस की सरकार आती है तो सबसे पहले पुरानी पेंशन बहाली की कार्मिकों की मांग को पूरा किया जाएगा।
बता दें कि पुरानी पेंशन बहाली संघर्ष मोर्चा लंबे समय से पुरानी पेंशन बहाली की मांग कर रहा है। भाजपा शासन में कर्मचारी लगातार पेंशन की मांग भी करते रहे। नवंबर माह में देहरादून में प्रदर्शन भी हुए लेकिन उनकी मांग को लेकर सरकार कुछ भी नहीं कर पाई। अंत में पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने यह कह कर कर्मचारियों को टाल दिया कि केंद्र सरकार को मामला भेजा गया हैं।
प्रदेश में करीब 80 हजार कर्मचारी ऐसे हैं, जो पुरानी पेंशन के दायरे से बाहर है। कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष और श्रीनगर विधायक ने नामांकन के बाद कहा कि उनकी प्रदेश में सरकार बनते ही वे सबसे पहले पुरानी पेंशन बहाली का आदेश जारी करवाएंगे। गोदियाल ने कर्मचारियों को अपने पक्ष में करने की दिशा में यह बड़ा कार्ड खेला है।
इधर, पुरानी पेंशन बहाली संगठन लगातार कह रहा था कि जो पुरानी पेंशन को घोषणा पत्र में शामिल करेगा, कर्मचारी उसका साथ देंगे। बहरहाल गोदियाल एक बार फिर बाजी मार गए। ऐसे में यदि कार्मिकों ने उनकी बात पर भरोसा किया तो कांग्रेस को चुनाव में इसका बड़ा फायदा होगा।
