जनपक्ष टुडे संवाददाता, अल्मोड़ा। उत्तराखण्ड में एक तरफ आपदा और मौसम की मार तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ सोता हुआ सिस्टम। जिसकी वजह से शुक्रवार को एक प्रसूता महिला ने डंडी-कंडी पर तड़प-तड़प कर दम तोड़ दिया।
बता दें कि बीती 19 अक्टूबर को आई बारिश की आपदा से बंद हुआ मोटर मार्ग 12 दिन बाद भी नहीं खोला गया है। मार्ग बंद होने की वजह से शुक्रवार को अल्मोड़ा में प्रसूता समय से हॉस्पिटल नहीं पहुंच सकी और उसने बीच रास्ते में ही दम तोड़ दिया।
मामला अल्मोड़ा जिले के गल्ली गांव से सामने आया है। यहां सड़क बाधित होने के कारण एक प्रसूता महिला को समय से अस्पताल नहीं पहुचाया जा सका, जिस कारण 22 वर्षीय प्रसूता ने रास्ते में ही दम तोड़ दिया।
जानकारी के अनुसार धौलादेवी ब्लॉक के गल्ली गांव की 22 साल की हीरा देवी पत्नी पूरन सिंह ने घर पर ही एक कन्या को जन्म दिया। इसके बाद उसकी तबीयत बिगड़ गई। परिजन महिला को लेकर हॉस्पिटल के लिए निकले, लेकिन बीते दिनों भारी बारिश से सड़क बाधित होने के कारण वो समय पर अस्पताल नहीं पहुंच पाई, जिस कारण प्रसूता ने रास्ते में ही दम तोड़ दिया।
ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि हीरा देवी की प्रसव पीड़ा के दौरान हॉस्पिटल लाते समय रास्ते में मृत्यु हो गई। गल्ली गांव के प्रधानपति जगत ने बताया कि बीते दिनों अतिवृष्टि के कारण अल्मोड़ा-पिथौरागढ़ हाईवे से लगी लिंक रोड डियाराखोली-रोलगल्ली मोटर मार्ग बाधित होने से वाहनों की आवाजाही अभी तक बंद है।
क्षेत्र के आधा दर्जन गांव के लोगों को इस वजह से परेशानी हो रही है। गांव के उमेद सिंह ने बताया कि गुरुवार को गल्ली निवासी पूरन सिंह की पत्नी हीरा देवी को प्रसव पीड़ा हुई। गांव में ही गर्भवती महिला ने बच्ची को जन्म दिया, उसके बाद उसकी तबीयत बिगड़ गई।
गांव के लोग किसी तरह डोली में उसको लाए, लेकिन आधे रास्ते में दर्द से तड़प-तड़प कर महिला की मौत हो गई। उन्होंने बताया कि सड़क मार्ग बंद होने से गर्भवती महिला को अस्पताल समय पर नहीं पहुंचा पाए। इस वजह से महिला की मौत हो गई।
उन्होंने कहा कि यदि सड़क मार्ग बंद नहीं होता तो महिला को बचाया जा सकता था, उन्होंने बताया कि कई बार सड़क मार्ग खोलने को लेकर अधिकारियों से कहा गया, लेकिन आपदा के 12 दिन बाद भी सड़क नहीं खुल पाई।
अब इस मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जिलाधिकारी वंदना सिंह ने अब संबंधित अधिकारियों का जबाव तलब किया है।
जिलाधिकारी वंदना सिंह ने संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश देते हुए कहा है कि बंद पड़े मार्ग को आज तक क्यों नहीं खोला जा सका? इस कार्य में लापरवाही बरतने वाले अधिकारी व कर्मचारियों का उत्तरदायित्व निर्धारित करते हुए संबंधित कार्मिक के विरूद्व प्रस्तावित की जाने वाली विधिसंगत कार्रवाई की संस्तुति सहित आख्या जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय को उपलब्ध कराई जाए
