जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून। उत्तराखंड अंतरिक्ष उपयोग केंद्र (यू-सैक) के निदेशक प्रो. एमपीएस बिष्ट ने कहा कि आज देश अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में विश्व में विशेष स्थान रखता है। भारत ने अपने विभिन्न अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ, कृषि, नियोजन, सूचना एवं संचार आदि क्षेत्र में अंतरिक्ष में अत्याधुनिक तकनीक के जरिए विभिन्न प्रकार के उपग्रहों को स्थापित करने में अद्भुत सफलता प्राप्त की है।

मंगलवार को यू-सैक सभागार में राजकीय महाविद्यालय डोईवाला के विज्ञान एवं भूर्गभ विज्ञान के छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी की भूमिका और इसके अनुप्रयोग विषय पर एक दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई। कार्यशाला का संचालन डा. सुषमा गैराला ने किया।

इस अवसर पर यू-सैक के निदेशक प्रो. एमपीएस बिष्ट ने कहा कि आज मानव ने अंतरिक्ष प्रोद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में काफी उन्न्नति की हैं. जहां पृथ्वी से इतर ग्रहों के रहस्यों का भेद पाने के लिए मनुष्य चांद पर पहुंच चुका है, वहीं दूसरी तरफ मानव जीवन में ज्ञान-विज्ञान और सुख- सुविधाओं का विस्तार करने के उद्देश्य से अंतरिक्ष में अत्याधुनिक तकनीक स पन विभिन्न प्रकार के उपग्रहों को स्थापित करने में अदभुद सफलता प्राप्त की हैं। इस दौरान केन्द्र के निदेशक प्रो. एमपीएस बिष्ट ने कार्यशाला में प्रतिभाग कर रहे छात्र-छात्राओं को प्रशिक्षण प्रमाण पत्र भी प्रदान किये।

जीयोग्राफीक इंफोरमेशन सिस्टम के बारे में बताया

कार्यशाला के तकनीकी सत्र में बेसिक आफॅ रिमोट सेंसिग विषय पर जानकारी देते हुुए केन्द्र के वैज्ञानिक पुष्कर कुमार ने छात्र-छात्राओं को अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी की भूमिका एवं विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में हो रहे अनुप्रयोगों के बारे में बताया। उन्होंने बताया कि जीआईएस यानि (जीयोग्राफीक इंफोरमेशन सिस्टम) यानि भौगोलिक सूचना तंत्र एक ऐसा क पूटर है, जो डाटा को इनपुट, स्टोर, मेनुप्लेट, एनालाइज करता हैं. जीआईएस का मैपिंग, दूरसंचार और नेटवर्क, शहरी नियोजन, कृषि एवं बागवानी, नियोजन एवं नीतिनिर्धारण में विशेष महत्व हैं। उन्होने बताया कि रिर्मोट सेंसिग से तात्पर्य एक ऐसी प्रक्रिया है, जिसके द्वारा किसी वस्तु या स्थान के सम्पर्क में आये बिना ही इसकी सम्पूर्ण जानकारी उपग्रह से प्राप्त कर ली जाती हैं।

सेटेलाइट डेटा मैपिंग की अहम भूमिका

तकनीकी सत्र के दितीय सत्र में जीयोस्पाशियल टैक्नोलोजी इन लैंड रिर्सोस मैनेजमेंट विषय पर जानकारी देते हुए केन्द्र के वै्रज्ञानिक डा. सुषमा गैरोला ने ‘जियोस्पाशियल टैक्नोलॉजी फॉर लैण्ड यूज/लैण्ड कवर मैपिंग’ पर व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि सैटेलाइट डेटा के उपयोग से सृजित भू-उपयोग-भू-आवरण किसी भी क्षेत्र की एक महत्वपूर्ण सूचना है। इसमें उस क्षेत्र के प्राकृतिक संसाधनों- जल, वन, भूमि, कृषि, अधिवास, रोड, रेलवे, ड्रेनेज, आधारभूत सुविधाओं से संबंधित समस्त सूचनाएं सम्मिलित होती हैं। विकास एवं नियोजन कार्यों के क्रियान्वयन में बेहद उपयोगी है।

डॉ. गैरोला ने प्रस्तुतीकरण में उन्होंने राज्य में भू-संसाधनों की स्थिति एवं उनके अनुश्रवण में अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी की भूमिका, अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी के विभिन्न आयामों तथा विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में हो रहे नये-नये प्रयोगों से विद्यार्थियों को परिचित कराया। साथ ही बताया कि यूसैक द्वारा रिमोट सेंसिंग एवं जी.आई.एस. तकनीकी की सहायता से मल्टी टेम्पोरल सैटेलाइट डेटा के उपयोग से राज्य के भू-संसाधनों का विविध स्केलों पर मानचित्रीकरण किया गया है तथा पांच वर्षों के निश्चित समयसीमा के अंतराल पर विभिन्न समयावधि में भू-उपयोग में आ रहे प्रमुख बदलावों को चिन्हित कर राज्य के प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का जियोस्पाशियल डेटाबेस को अपडेट किया गया है।

जीआईएस टेक्नोलॉजी की दी जानकारी
तकनीकी सत्र के तृतीय सत्र में एप्लीकेशन आफॅ आरएस एण्ड जीआईएस विषय पर जानकारी देते हुए केन्द्र के वै्ज्ञानिक डा. गजेन्द्र सिंह बताया कि अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी के विभिन्न आयामों का वानकी में कैसे प्रयोग होता है, जिसमें जैव-विविधता आंकलन, प्रजातियों का वितरण, औषधीय एवं सगंध पादको का अध्यन, वनो में आ रहे बदलाव का अध्ययन, जंगल में हो रहे वनाग्नि घटनाओं का अध्ययन आदि पर छात्र-छात्राओं को विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान की गयी।

छात्रों को दी कई महत्वपूर्ण इन्फॉर्मेशन

तकनीकी सत्र के चतुर्थ सत्र में हेमन्त बिष्ट ने छात्र-छात्राओं को अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी आधारित विभिन्न एप्लीकेशन मसलन गूगल अर्थ, गूगल मैप के अनुप्रयोग के विषय में विस्तार पूर्वक जानकारी दी। कार्यशाला के अन्तिम सत्र में छात्र-छात्राओं को हेण्डसाऑन ट्रेनिंग में केन्द्र में कार्यरत सीनियर रिर्सच फैलो डा. नवीन चन्द्र ने उपग्रह से प्राप्त ईमेज को इण्टरप्रेट एवं प्रोसेस करने की जानकारी प्रदान की। प्रायोगिक सत्र में प्रतिभागियों को जीपीएस से अक्षांतर एवं देशान्तर से लोकेेेशन प्राप्त करना सिखाया।

महाविद्यालय की प्राध्यापिका ने जताया यूसैक का आभार

कार्यशाला के अन्त में छात्र-छात्राओं के दल को लीड कर रही डोईवाला महाविद्यालय की प्राध्यापिका डा. कंचन सिंह ने यू-सैक का आभार जताते हुए कहा कि यू-सैक द्वारा समय-समय पर छात्र-छात्राओं एवं रेखिय विभागों के लिए इस प्रकार के प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आयोजित करता है जिनके माध्यम से अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी की महत्वापूर्ण जानकारी लाभार्थियों को प्रदान की जाती हैं। आज के प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला में छात्र-छात्राओं को इसका व्यहारिक एवं प्रायोगिक ज्ञान प्राप्त हुआ जो कि उनके शैक्षिक एवं व्यवहारिक जीवन में लाभकारी सिद्ध होगा।
