जनपक्ष टुडे ब्यूरो, देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी सैनिक पुत्र हैं। यही एक बड़ी और अहम वजह भी है कि सेना एवं सेवा के प्रति उनका समर्पण भाव अक्सर उनके व्यवहार एवं कार्यप्रणाली में झलकता है।

शहीद मेजर विभूति शंकर ढौंडियाल के चित्र पर पुष्प चढ़ाकर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी।

शनिवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री धामी देहरादून में शहीद मेजर विभूति शंकर ढौंडियाल एवं शहीद मेजर चित्रेश बिष्ट के आवास पर पहुँचे। इस दौरान उन्होंने देश के वीर सपूतों को नमन करते हुए श्रद्धांजलि स्वरूप उनके आवास के बाहर स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया और उनके परिजनों से मुलाकात कर उनकी कुशलक्षेम भी ली।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के जन्मदिवस समारोह को देशभर में सेवा पखवाड़े के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है। उत्तराखंड में भी इस खास मौके पर कई आयोजन किए जा रहे हैं।

इस सबके बीच सैनिक पुत्र मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी शनिवार सुबह भारी बारिश के बीच पहले नेहरू कॉलोनी में स्थित शहीद मेजर चित्रेश बिष्ट के आवास पर और फिर नेशविला रोड पर शहीद मेजर विभूति ढौंडियाल के आवास पर पहुँचे और शहीदों के परिजनों से मुलाकात कर उनकी कुशलक्षेम जानी।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि देवभूमि के इन वीर सपूतों के प्रति समूचा राष्ट्र कृतज्ञ है। मुख्यमंत्री ने इसके उपरांत दोनों के घर के बाहर स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत शक्तिशाली, समृद्ध एवं समरस भारत के रूप में आगे बढ़ रहा है। आज विश्व स्तर पर भारत का मान, सम्मान एवं स्वाभिमान बढ़ा है। प्रधानमंत्री का जन्मदिवस सेवा पखवाड़ा के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है। इस अवसर पर स्वच्छता, रक्तदान, संगोष्ठियां एवं सेवा के अन्य कार्यक्रम किए जा रहे हैं।
