देहरादून। सीबीआई ने एक सीनियर रेलवे अधिकारी महेंद्र सिंह चौहान के घर छापा मारा. चौहान पर नॉर्दन ईस्टर्न फ्रंटियर रेलवेज में प्राइवेट कंपनी को काम दिलाने के एवज में एक करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत लेने का आरोप है।

सीबीआई रेलवे अधिकारी के देहरादून स्थित आशीर्वाद एंक्लेव घर और चकराता के पुश्तैनी घर पर जरूरी दस्तावेज़ खंगाल रही है। सीबीआई टीम देर रात दिल्ली से देहरादून पहुंची है. चौहान 1985 बैच के रेलवे अधिकारी हैं.

बता दें कि इससे पहले सीबीआई ने रेलवे अधिकारी महेंद्र के साथ दो अन्य लोगों को भी एक करोड़ रिश्वत मामले में पकड़ा था। बताया जा रहा है कि इनके पास से एक करोड़ रुपये बरामद किए गए हैं। सीबीआई सूत्रों की मानें तो रेलवे में हाल के दिनों में इतनी बड़ी मात्रा में रिश्तव लेते हुए रंगे हाथ पकड़े जाने का यह बड़ा मामला है।
