राजस्थान में चल रहे सियासी घमासान के बीच पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री सचिन पायलट और उनके समर्थक विधायकों के खिलाफ 24 जुलाई तक विधानसभा अध्यक्ष किसी तरह की कार्रवाई नहीं कर पाएंगे। राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट ने बीते रोज इस मामले में सुनवाई पूरी होने के बाद 24 जुलाई को फैसला सुनाने का निर्णय लिया है।
दोनों पक्षों की दलीलें सुनने के बाद कोर्ट ने कहा कि स्पीकर 24 जुलाई को फैसला सुनाए जाने तक अपनी कार्रवाई स्थगित कर दें। मालूम हो कि कांग्रेस विधायक दल की लगातार बुलाई गई दो बैठकों से अनुपस्थित रहने के चलते प्रदेश विधानसभा अध्यक्ष सीपी जोशी ने सचिन पायलट और उनके समर्थक विधायकों को नोटिस जारी किया था। इस नोटिस के खिलाफ पायलट गुट ने हाईकोर्ट में याचिका दायर की थी।
बीती 17 जुलाई को मामले की सुनवाई शुरू हुई थी। आज सुनावाई के दौरान पायलट खेमे की पैरवी कर रहे वरिष्ठ वकील मुकुल रोहतगी ने कहा कि स्पीकर ने नोटिस देने में जल्दबाजी दिखाई और कोई कारण भी नहीं दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के बीच नोटिस का जवाब देने के लिए विधायकों को सिर्फ तीन दिन का वक्त दिया गया, इससे साफ पता चलता है कि विधायकों को निलंबित करने का फैसला पहले ही तय कर लिया गया था।
इससे एक दिन पहले कांग्रेस सरकार का पक्ष रखते हुए सीनीयर वकील अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने दलील दी थी कि अभी स्पीकर ने किसी विधायक को अयोग्य घोषित नहीं किया है, ऐसे में अदालत का हस्तक्षेप करना ठीक नहीं है। बहरहाल दूसरी तरफ प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने आज एक बार फिर कांग्रेस विधायक दल की बैठक बुलाई है। ये बैठक उसी होटल में बुलाई गई है, जहां विधायक ठहरे हुए हैं।
