देहरादून। उत्तराखंड जल विद्युत निगम (यूजेवीएन) लिमिटेड की 9.3 मेगावाट क्षमता की मोहम्मदपुर जल विद्युत परियोजना ने जुलाई माह में रिकार्ड विद्युत उत्पादन के रिकार्ड बनाया है।

यूजेवीएन लिमिटेड की जनपद हरिद्वार में अपर गंगा कैनाल पर स्थित 9.3 मेगावाट क्षमता की मोहम्मदपुर जल विद्युत परियोजना ने अपनी स्थापना के बाद अब तक का यह सर्वाधिक विद्युत उत्पादन है।

इस संबंध में यूजेवीएन लिमिटेड के प्रबंध निदेशक संदीप सिंघल ने बताया कि 1952 में स्थापित मोहम्मदपुर जल विद्युत गृह द्वारा जुलाई 2021 में 5.521 मिलियन यूनिट विद्युत उत्पादन हुआ। इससे पूर्व मोहम्मदपुर विद्युतगृह द्वारा जुलाई माह का अधिकतम विद्युत उत्पादन जुलाई 2020 में किया गया था जो कि 5.313 मिलियन यूनिट था।

संदीप सिंघल ने मोहम्मदपुर विद्युत गृह की उपलब्धि पर ख़ुशी जताते हुए कहा कि विद्युत गृहों की मशीनों के बेहतर संचालन, रखरखाव एवं कार्मिकों के उत्कृष्ट कार्य से यह रिकार्ड संभव हो पाया है।
