देहरादून। आतंकवादियों से लोहा लेते हुए उत्तराखंड का एक और लाल शहीद हो गया। सूबेदार राम सिंह की शहादत से समूचे उत्तराखंड में शोक की लहर दौड़ पड़ी।

बता दें कि आज सुबह जम्मू कश्मीर के राजौरी सेक्टर में आतंकियों से मुठभेड़ के दौरान ग्राम सालना, पौड़ी गढ़वाल के वीर सपूत सूबेदार राम सिंह शहीद हो गए। वह 16 गढ़वाल राइफल बटालियन में कार्यरत थे।

देश की रक्षा के लिए अदम्य साहस एवं शौर्य का परिचय देने वाले इस वीर सैनिक की शहादत से हर कोई गमगीन है। परिवारजनों की भी इस खबर के बाद पैरों तले जमीन खिसक गई। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत का कहना है कि एक ओर जहां हमें अपने शहीद की शहादत पर गर्व है वहीं उन्हें खोने का भी बेहद दुःख है।
