उत्तराखंड में सियासी संकट के बीच सीएम तीरथ सिंह रावत ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस कर सबको चौंका दिया। अटकलें थीं कि सीएम तीरथ शुक्रवार शाम को प्रेसवार्ता में अपने पद से इस्तीफे की घोषणा कर देंगे, लेकिन इस दौरान उन्होंने बाकी किसी भी राजनीतिक मुुद्दे पर बोलने की बजाय अपनी सरकार के काम गिनाए।

पार्टी सूत्रों की मानें तो अब शनिवार को सीएम इस्तीफे की घोषणा कर सकते हैं। शनिवार को ही देहरादून में बीजेपी विधायक दल की बैठक आयोजित की जाएगी। बताया जा रहा है कि बैठक से पूर्व सीएम तीरथ रावत राज्यपाल को इस्तीफा सौंप सकते हैं।

सभी भाजपा विधायकों को 11 बजे तक बैठक में पहुंचने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। शनिवार को प्रदेश को नया मुख्यमंत्री मिल सकता है। राजनीतिके गलियारे में मुख्यमंत्री की दौड़ में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र रावत के अलावा सतपाल महाराज, धन सिंह रावत के नाम की चर्चा है।

बता दें कि तीरथ सिंह रावत ने 10 मार्च को मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ग्रहण की थी। अपने 115 दिन के कार्यकाल के बाद आज ही उन्होंने दिल्ली में भाजपा अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा से इस्तीफे की पेशकश की थी। सूत्रों के अनुसार तीरथ सिंह रावत ने भाजपा अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा को दिए खत में कहा है कि वे पार्टी के सामने कोई संकट नहीं पैदा करना चाहते हैं और इसलिए वे अपने पद से इस्तीफे की पेशकश कर रहे हैं।
