नई टिहरी। एशिया की सबसे बड़ी टिहरी झील पर डोबरा-चांठी पुल बनकर तैयार हो गया है। यह न केवल एक पुल है, बल्कि लाखों लोगों की भावनाओं का भी केंद्र है। टिहरी डैम बनने के बाद प्रतापनगर को काला पानी कहा जाने लगा था। आज मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र रावत इस पुल का दोपहर 2 बजे उद्घाटन करके जनता को आवाजाही को समर्पित करेंगे। पुल पर आवाजाही शुरू होने से क्षेत्र के लोगों की करीब 14 वर्षों की समस्या खत्म हो जाएगी।

भलड़ियाना पुल डूबने के बाद प्रतापनगर और गाजणा पट्टी क्षेत्र की जिला मुख्यालय से दोगुनी से बजी अधिक दूरी हो गयी थी। लम्बा सफर होने से लोग गांव जाने से कतराने लगे थे, लेकिन पुल बनने के बाद क्षेत्र की कई समस्याओं का समाधान हो जाएगा। वैसे तो असली दिवाली 14 नवम्बर को है, लेकिन आज क्षेत्र को जोड़ने वाले बहुप्रतीक्षित डोबरा-चांठी पुल का उद्घाटन होने से प्रतापनगर के लोगों के लिए यह फिन किसी दिवाली से कम नही है।

दरअसल, पिछले 14 वर्षों से टिहरी जिले के विकास खंड प्रतापनगर और उत्तरकाशी जिले की गाजणा पट्टी के लोगों को टिहरी मुख्यालय तक पहुँचने के लिए लंबा सफर तय करना पड़ता था, लेकिन अब उनकी राह आसान हो गयी है।

त्रिवेंद्र सरकार आज पुल का उद्घाटन करके क्षेत्र के लोगों का 14 वर्ष से चला आ रहा वनवास खत्म करने जा रही है। टिहरी और उत्तरकाशी के लोग इस पुल के बनने का पिछले 14 सालों से इंतजार कर रहे थे। पुल के बनने से 3 लाख की आबादी को फायदा मिलेगा।

देश का सबसे लंबा सस्पेंशन ब्रिज

प्रतापनगर की लाइफलाइन कहा जाने वाला डोबरा-चांठी पुल देश का सबसे लंबा सस्पेंशन ब्रिज है। इसे टिहरी झील के ऊपर बनाया गया है। पुल को आकर्षक बनाने के लिए इस पर अत्याधुनिक फसाड लाइटिंग सिस्टम भी लगाई गई है जिस पर पांच करोड़ की लागत आई है।

आवागमन का बनेगा बेहतर जरिया

इस पुल को बनने में 14 साल का वक्त जरूर लगा, लेकिन सालों की मेहनत के बाद बना ये पुल ना सिर्फ आवागमन का बेहतर जरिया बनेगा, बल्कि इससे टिहरी में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा भी मिलेगा। इस पुल पर चलने वाले लोगों के लिए ये अनुभव शानदार और यादगार होने वाला है।

पर्यटन की बदलेगा तस्वीर

डोबरा-चांठी पुल को पर्यटन की दृष्टि से भी काफी महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है। जिस तरह टिहरी झील आज देश में एक नए टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन के तौर पर उभर रही है उसी तरह आने वाले दिनों में डोबरा चांठी पुल भी एक नया टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन बनेगा।

टिहरी-उत्तरकाशी के लोगों को होगा फायदा

अभी तक टिहरी से प्रतापनगर जाने के लिए पांच से छह घंटे लग जाते थे। इस पुल के बन जाने के बाद टिहरी से प्रतापनगर का सफर डेढ़ घंटे में पूरा होगा।
