देहरादून। निर्माण इकाई, उत्तराखंड पेयजल निगम, देहरादून में पिछले तीन महीने से रिक्त चल रही परियोजना प्रबंधक के पद को आखिरकार लम्बे जद्दोजहद के बाद भर लिया गया है।
इंजीनियर केएम सिंह तोपवाल को निर्माण इकाई, देहरादून का समर्थकों को दिया गया है। शासन की स्वीकृति के बाद शुक्रवार को प्रबन्ध निदेशक एसके पन्त ने केएम सिंह तोपवाल के परियोजना प्रबंधक के पद पर तैनाती के विधिवत आदेश कर दिए हैं।
वर्तमान में केएम सिंह तोपवाल अस्थाई निर्माण इकाई (खेल) में सहायक अभियंता के पद पर कार्यरत थे। वरिष्ठ होने के साथ ही वह काफी अनुभवी भी हैं।
तोपवाल दिल्ली में बन रहे उत्तराखंड भवन का भी काम देख रहे थे। उनकी कार्य कुशलता और लम्बे अनुभव को देखते हुए सरकार ने उन्हें निर्माण इकाई देहरादून में परियोजना प्रबन्धक का दायित्व सौंप दिया है।
बता दें कि इस पद पर कार्यरत चंदन सिंह रजवार को निर्माण विंग में महाप्रबंधक का प्रतिद्वंद्वियों को सौंपा गया था। उसके बाद निर्माण इकाई में परियोजना प्रबंधक का पद रिक्त चल रहा था।
हालांकि पूर्व में प्रबन्धन ने इस पद पर तैनाती के आदेश किए थे, लेकिन विवाद होने पर आदेश को तत्काल प्रभाव से निरस्त करना पड़ा था। अब इस पद पर नियुक्ति होने के बाद निर्माण कार्य तेजी से आएगी।
