– शत्रुघ्न सिंह ने कार्यभार ग्रहण कर मुख्यमंत्री से की शिष्टाचार भेंट

देहरादून। उत्तराखंड के मुख्य सचिव रह चुके रिटायर्ड आईएएस अफसर शत्रुघ्न सिंह मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत के मुख्य सलाहकार बनाए गए हैं। एक दिन पहले ही उन्होंने प्रदेश के मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त के पद से इस्तीफा दिया था। उन्होंने आज शाम को नए दायित्व का पदभार भी ग्रहण कर लिया है।

अपर मुख्य सचिव राधा रतूड़ी ने शत्रुघ्न सिंह को मुख्यमंत्री का मुख्य सलाहकार बनाए जाने का आदेश जारी किया है। 1983 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी शत्रुघ्न सिंह साल 2015 में उत्तराखंड के मुख्य सचिव बने थे।

बता दें कि कल अचानक उनके इस्तीफे के बाद राज्य सचिवालय ने हलचल शुरू ही गयी थी। मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त के ओढ़ इनका कार्यकाल अभी नवंबर था।

शत्रुघ्न सिंह साफ-सुथरी और ईमानदार छवि के हैं। पूरे सेवाकाल में निर्विवाद छवि के रहे वरिष्ठ आईएएस शत्रुघ्न सिंह पीएमओ में भी महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारियों का निर्वहन कर चुके हैं। वह पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री बीसी खंडूड़ी के सबसे करीबी माने जाते हैं।

मंगलवार को उनके इस्तीफे के बाद कयास लगाए जा रहे थे कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री बीसी खंडूड़ी के कार्यकाल के दौरान महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी संभाल चुके शत्रुघ्न सिंह को मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत भी अपनी टीम में शामिल कर सकते हैं।

बुधवार को यह कयास सच साबित हुआ है। शत्रुघ्न सिंह के शामिल होने से टीम सीएम तीरथ रावत को मजबूती मिली है। निश्चित रूप से उनके लम्बे प्रशासनिक अनुभव का सरकार के साथ जनता को भी लाभ मिलेगा।

आदेश जारी होने के बाद उन्होंने बुधवार को ही कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया है। मुख्यमंत्री के मुख्य सलाहकार पद का कार्यभार ग्रहण करने के बाद शत्रुघ्न सिंह ने सचिवालय में मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत से शिष्टाचार भेंट भी की।
