नैनीताल। उत्तराखंड में कोरोना महामारी से पहले ही हालात खराब है। वहीं आपदा भी उत्तराखंड का लगातार पीछा करने लगी है। उत्तरकाशी रुद्रप्रयाग देवप्रयाग के बाद आज भीमताल में भी बादल फटा है। कैंची धाम के पास फ़टे बादल से भारी तबाही हुई है।
नैनीताल जिले के भवाली व आसपास के इलाकों में देर शाम हुई तेज बारिश के चलते खासा नुकसान हुआ है। जगह जगह मलवा आने के चलते अल्मोड़ा हल्द्वानी हाइवे बंद हो गया है।
विश्व प्रसिद्ध कैंची धाम के पास भी सड़क पर काफी मलवा आया है। कैंच धाम के मुख्य द्वार पर भी खासा मलबा जमा हुआ है।
बताया जा रहा है कि कैंची धाम से जुड़े भवनों, रास्तों व गेंटों आदि को खासा नुकसान पहुंचा है। मलवा आने के चलते सड़क मार्ग बंद हो गया। दोनों ओर वाहनों की लंबी कतार लग गई। मौके पर जिला प्रशासन की टीम पहुंच गई है।
स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि देर शाम तेज बारिश के बाद क्षेत्र में बेहद अधिक नुकसान हुआ है। कुछ लोगों ने बताया कि क्षेत्र में तेज बारिश के साथ बादल फट गया।
जिला आपदा प्रबंधन अधिकारी नैनीताल शैलेश कुमार के हवाले से आ रही जानकारी के अनुसार बारिश के बाद अल्मोड़ा हल्द्वानी हाइवे कैंची सहित कई जगहों में बंद है।
मौके पर टीम सड़क खोलने का काम कर रही है। मार्ग में वाहनों की आवाजाही कब शुरू होगी। इस बारे में कुछ कहा नहीं जा सकता है।
