देहरादून। आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता कर्नल अजय कोठियाल ने कोरोना महामारी के संकट के वक्त एक बार फिर अपनी नेतृत्व क्षमता को साबित कर दिखाया है। उन्होंने आज कोरोना महामारी से लड़ने के लिए उत्तराखंड की जनता को 20 बेड का सभी सुविधाओं युक्त मिनी मिलिट्री हॉस्पिटल समर्पित किया।
सबसे अहम बात यह है कि इस हॉस्पिटल में पूरा इलाज निशुल्क होगा। कर्नल अजय कोठियाल और उनके सानिध्य में चलने वाले संगठन ‘यूथ फाउंडेशन’ की टीम ने इस हॉस्पिटल को तैयार करने के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर काम किया, जिसका परिणाम आज सामने है।
यह हॉस्पिटल ‘मैक्सिमा हेल्थ केयर’ नाम से देहरादून के शिमला बाईपास रोड क्षेत्र में बनाया गया गया है। अहम बात यह है कि इसके संचालन के लिए उत्तराखंड प्रशासन तथा स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा सभी जरूरी अनुमति दी जा चुकी हैं।
इस अवसर पर कर्नल अजय कोठियाल ने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के खिलाफ लड़ाई में आज सभी को आगे आने की जरूरत है। उन्होंने कहा कि इसी बात ने उन्हें इस हॉस्पिटल को तैयार करने के लिए हौंसला दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस हॉस्पिटल को सेना के मापदंडो के अनुरूप तैयार किया गया है।
हॉस्पिटल में मरीजों के इलाज के लिए विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सक तथा अन्य कुशल मेडिकल स्टाफ उपलब्ध रहेगा। इसके साथ ही मरीजों को पौष्टिक भोजन दिया जाएगा। इस मुहिम में ज़रूरत मंदों को निशुल्क अच्छी स्वास्थ सेवा देने के लिए देहरादून के जाने माने यूरोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. अशोक लूथरा, डॉ. हरीश बसेरा, और डॉ आशीष कोठियाल मिलकर साथ देंगे।
आप नेता कर्नल अजय कोठियाल ने कहा कि देहरादून से शुरू हुई इस पहल को प्रदेश के अंतिम छोर तक पहुंचाने की हरसंभव कोशिश की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जल्द ही इस अस्पताल की तर्ज पर प्रदेश के दूसरे शहरों में भी हॉस्पिटल शुरू किए जाएंगे। इस अवसर पर हॉस्पिटल में संपर्क करने के लिए तीन मोबाइल नंबर भी जारी किए गए।

कोरोना संकट के बीच कर्नल अजय कोठियाल जनता को मदद पहुंचाने की हर संभव कोशिश में लगे हैं। बीते दिनों उनके द्वारा ‘आप का डॉक्टर’ अभियान की शुरुआत भी की गई जिसके जरिए प्रदेशवासियों को चिकित्सकीय परामर्श के लिए निशुल्क हेल्पलाइन शुरू की गई।
आप पार्टी का डॉक्टर हेल्पलाइन पर अब तक हजारों की संख्या में लोग विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों से सलाह ले चुके हैं। इसके अलावा कर्नल अजय कोठियाल यूथ फाउंडेशन के जरिए जरूरतमंदों तक ऑक्सीजन सिलेंडर, दवाइयां, मास्क तथा खाद्य सामाग्री भी पहुंचा रहे हैं।
