-सीबीआई के नए चीफ ने संभाला कार्यभार, जल्द बड़े बदलाव की सम्भावना
नई दिल्ली। भारत की सर्वोच्च जांच एजेंसी सीबीआई को नया मुखिया मिल गया है। केंद्र सरकार ने तेज तर्रार और अपराधियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई में माहिर आईपीएस अधिकारी सुबोध कुमार जायसवाल को सीबीआई का नया डायरेक्टर बनाया गया है। फरवरी में सीबीआई के डायरेक्टर आरके शुक्ला के रिटायर्ड होने के बाद से यह पद रिक्त चल रहा था।
आज नए सीबीआई चीफ ने विधिवत कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया है। सीबीआई के नए चीफ के नाम अपराधियों के खिलाफ हुए बड़े ऑपरेशन में सफलता की उपलब्धि जुड़ी है। उम्मीद है कि अब सीबीआई में उनके आने से बड़े बदलाव और भ्र्ष्टाचार के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई होंगी।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) के नए डायरेक्टर के चयन के लिए गठित उच्चस्तरीय समिति की बैठक हुई थी। इस समिति में पीएम मोदी के अलावा कांग्रेस नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी और चीफ जस्टिस ऑफ इंडिया जस्टिस एनवी रमन्ना थे।
नए सीबीआई चीफ की नियुक्ति समिति के दौरान सरकार की तरफ से कुल 4 नाम सुझाए गए थे जिनमें पूर्व में सीबीआई में रह चुके राकेश अस्थाना का नाम भी शामिल था। लेकिन समिति में सभी नामों पर चर्चा के दौरान यह तय हुआ कि जो लोग अगले 6 महीनों के दौरान रिटायर होने वाले हैं उनकी नियुक्ति पर विचार नहीं किया जाए।
राकेश अस्थाना क्योंकि अगले 6 महीने में रिटायर होने वाले थे ऐसे में उनका नाम आगे नहीं बढ़ सका और अंत में सुबोध जायसवाल के नाम पर सरकार ने मुहर लगाई।
दो साल रहेगा कार्यकाल
केंद्र सरकार ने मंगलवार को आईपीएस जायसवाल की नियुक्ति की जानकारी दी। उनका कार्यकाल दो साल का होगा। 1985 बैच के आईपीएस अधिकारी सुबोध कुमार जासवाल अभी तक केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल के चीफ थे।
सुबोध कुमार जासवाल महाराष्ट्र में देवेंद्र फडणवीस सरकार के समय मुंबई पुलिस कमिश्नर तथा महाराष्ट्र के डीजीपी रह चुके हैं। आज बुधवार को नए चीफ ने विधिवत कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया है। उनके सीबीआई में आने से कार्य संस्कृति में बड़े बदलाव की उम्मीद की जा रही है।
इंटेलिजेंस नेटवर्क मजबूत
आईपीएस सुबोध कुमार के बारे में कहा जाता है कि उनका इंटेलिजेंस नेटवर्क काफी मजबूत है और इसी की वजह से वे खूफिया एजेंसी RAW में भी रह चुके हैं। सुबोध कुमार जायसवाल को जासूसों का मास्टर भी कहा जाता है।
महारा्ट्र् में स्टांप पेपर घोटाला तथा मालेगांव ब्लास्ट के मामले की जांच में वे अहम भूमिका निभा चुके हैं। इसके अलावा महाराष्ट्र ATS में रहते हुए उन्होंने आतंकवादियों से जुड़े मामलों पर भी काम किया है।
