देहरादून। विधानमंडल दल की बैठक में तीरथ सिंह रावत के नाम पर मुहर लगी, तीरथ ने शाम को मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली। प्रदेश की राज्यपाल बेबी रानी मौर्य ने तीरथ सिंह रावत को मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ दिलाई। उन्होंने अकेले शपथ ली, किसी मंत्री ने कोई शपथ नहीं ली। इस दौरान भाजपा के कई बड़े नेता मौजूद रहे।

तीरथ रावत एक परिचय

तीरथ सिंह रावत फरवरी 2013 से दिसंबर 2015 तक उत्तराखंड भाजपा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष थे। चौबट्टाखाल से भूतपूर्व विधायक (2012-2017) हैं। वर्तमान में तीरथ सिंह रावत भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय सचिव के साथ साथ गढ़वाल लोकसभा से सांसद भी हैं। पौड़ी सीट से भाजपा के उम्मीदवार के अतिरिक्त 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में उन्हें हिमाचल प्रदेश का चुनाव प्रभारी भी बनाया गया था। उनका जन्म सीरों, पट्टी असवालस्यूं पौड़ी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखण्ड में हुआ था। उनके पिता श्री कलम सिंह रावत थे।

तीरथ सिंह रावत भारतीय जनता पार्टी से संबंधित राजनीतिज्ञ है। वर्ष 2000 में नवगठित उत्तराखण्ड के प्रथम शिक्षा मंत्री चुने गए थे। इसके बाद 2007 में भारतीय जनता पार्टी उत्तराखण्ड के प्रदेश महामंत्री चुने गए तत्पश्चात प्रदेश चुनाव अधिकारी तथा प्रदेश सदस्यता प्रमुख रहे। 2013 उत्तराखण्ड दैवीय आपदा प्रबंधन सलाहकार समिति के अध्यक्ष रहे। वर्ष 2012 में चौबटाखाल विधान सभा से विधायक निर्वाचित हुए और वर्ष 2013 में उत्तराखण्ड भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बने। इससे पूर्व वर्ष 1983 से 1988 तक राष्ट्रीय स्वयं सेवक संघ के प्रचारक रहे, अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद् (उत्तराखण्ड) के संगठन मंत्री और राष्ट्रीय मंत्री रहे हैं।

हेमवती नंदन गढ़वाल विश्व विधालय में छात्र संघ अध्यक्ष और छात्र संघ मोर्चा (उत्तर प्रदेश) में प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष भी रहे। इसके बाद भारतीय जनता युवा मोर्चा (उत्तर प्रदेश) के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष एवं राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी के सदस्य रहे। इसके बाद 1997 में उत्तर प्रदेश विधान परिषद् के सदस्य निर्वाचित हुए तथा विधान परिषद् में विनिश्चय संकलन समिति के अध्यक्ष बनाये गए। रावत को पौड़ी सीट से भारत के 17 वें लोकसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी की तरफ से प्रत्याशी बनाया गया था,जिसमें वे भारी मतों से विजयी हुए। इन्होंने अपने निकटतम प्रतिद्वंदी कांग्रेस के मनीष खंडूड़ी को भारी मतों से हराया।
