नई टिहरी। टिहरी जिले के खाड़ी सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र खाड़ी में कोविड सेंटर बनकर तैयार हो गया है। कोविड-19 संक्रमित मरीजों को यहां ईलाज के लिए भर्ती किया जा सकता है। बुधवार को इस कोविड सेंटर का कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने निरीक्षण कर जायजा लिया है।

कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने बताया कि खाड़ी सीएचसी में 80 बेडों का कोविड सेंटर बनाया गया है, इसमें 18 कंसन्टेटर उपलब्ध हैं। शीघ्र ही यहां कोविड सेंटर में आक्सीजन का प्लांट भी स्थापित किया जाना है।

उनियाल ने बताया कि खाड़ी सीएचसी में संचालित होने वाली ओपीडी को पास में स्थित दूसरे भवन में शिफ्ट किया जाएगा। इससे यहां ओपीडी के मरीजों को ईलाज के लिए अन्य जगह नहीं भटकना पड़ेगा।

ब्लाॅक प्रमुख राजेंद्र भंडारी ने खाड़ी सीएचसी में कोविड सेंटर बनने पर कैबिनेट मंत्री का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि इस कोविड सेंटर में टिहरी जनपद के ग्रामीणों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी।

इस मौके पर उप जिलाधिकारी नरेंद्रनगर युक्ता मिश्र, कृषि अधिकारी जेपी तिवारी समेत स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
