देहरादून/त्यूणी। आजादी के 70 सालों से उपेक्षित देहरादून और उत्तरकाशी जिले का दूरस्थ जौनसार-रवांई क्षेत्र भी दशकों बाद विकास की दौड़ में कदम-ताल कर रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने बुधवार को इस जनजाति क्षेत्र का दौरा कर तमाम सौगातें देने का काम ही नहीं किया है, बल्कि त्रिवेंद्र इस इलाके के लोगों के दिलों को भी जीतने में भी कामयाब रहे।

मौका था त्यूणी में राजकीय डिग्री कालेज के नवनिर्मित भवन के लोकार्पण का। 771 लाख रुपये की लागत से बने इस महाविद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं को इस भवन के बनने से बड़ी राहत मिलेगी। इस अवसर पर त्यूणी और उसके बाद मोरी में जिस तरह से त्रिवेंद्र को सुनने के लिए जनसैलाब उमड़ पड़ा, उससे स्पष्ट है कि इस जनजाति क्षेत्र के लोग अब विकास से वंचित नहीं रहना चाहते हैं।

जाहिर है कि अब गुजरे दशकों में जौनसार इलाके में एक दल विशेष का एकछत्र राज रहा, लेकिन अफसोसजनक कि इस पूरे क्षेत्र में विकास के मामले में जितना आगे बढ़ने की क्षमताएं थी उसे कभी निखारने का काम ही नहीं किया गया या यूं कहा जाए कि जानबूझकर लोगों को विकास से वंचित रखने का कार्य किया गया।

गौरतलब है कि जौनसार-रवांई का यह क्षेत्र हिमाचल प्रदेश से लगा हुआ है। ऐसे में यहां पर सेब की बागवानी बड़े पैमाने पर होती है तो रवांई का क्षेत्र टमाटर, मटर, आलू जैसी नकदी फसलों के लिए अपनी पहचान रखता है। प्रकृति की असीम कृपा होने और स्थानीय निवासियों में मेहनत का जबरदस्त जज्बा होने के बावजूद यहां के लोगों को आगे नहीं बढ़ने दिया गया तो इसके पीछे केवल राजनीति ही थी।

बहरहाल, अब भाजपा सरकार ने ष्सबका साथ-सबका विकासष् के मूलमंत्र पर कार्य करते हुए इस इलाके की दशा और दिशा दोनों को बदलने का काम शुरू कर दिया है। मुख्यमंत्री अपने लगभग चार साल के दौरे में बुधवार को चैथी बार यहां पहुंचे तो मोरी से लेकर त्यूनी तक आमजन में उनके द्वारा इस इलाके पर लगातार बरसाए जा रहे स्नेह के प्रति खासा भावनात्मक रिश्ता भी देखने को मिला।

लोगों के बीच आपस में चर्चाएं होती रहीं तो मोरी में कांग्रेसी विधायक होने के बावजूद राजकुमार ने न केवल सीएम की तारीफों के जमकर पुल बांधे बल्कि वह सीएम त्रिवेंद्र को अपना राजनीतिक गुरू बताकर विकास में भागीदार होने के लिए तत्पर दिखे। सीएम त्रिवेंद्र ने भी मोरी से लेकर त्यूणी तक लोगों की भावनाओं का सम्मान करने में देर नहीं लगाई।

मोरी में राजकीय महाविद्यालय को आगामी सत्र से शुरू करने की घोषणा कर सीएम ने जहां इस इलाके के लोगों की मुराद पूरी की तो त्यूणी में रिकार्ड समय में बनकर तैयार हुए नए डिग्री काॅलेज को पाकर क्षेत्र के लोग गदगद थे। वहीं, नए डिग्री काॅलेज का नाम इस इलाके की राजनीति के भीष्मपितामाह कहे जाने वाले पंडित शिवराम के नाम पर करके उन्होंने यह भी जता दिया कि जो जिस सम्मान का हकदार है, उसे उससे वंचित नहीं रखा जा सकता।

यही नहीं, सीएम ने इलाके में सड़कों का जाल बिछाने और पुरानी सड़कों के डामरीकरण की घोषणाएं कर लोगों की मुराद पूरी कर दी। बताते चलें कि जौनसार क्षेत्र में बड़े पैमाने पर सेब का उत्पादन तो होता है लेकिन सड़कें न होने के कारण मंडी पहुंचने से पहले ही उनका माल खराब हो जाता था।

अब मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र रावत ने उन इलाकों तक सड़कों के डामरीकरण और नई सड़कें बनाने की घोषणा कर लोगों की इस मुश्किलों को भी दूर करने का काम किया है। इसके अलावा त्यूणी में मंडी के सर्वे के निर्देश देकर भी उन्होंने स्थानीय जनता के दिलों को जीतने का काम किया।
