इधर, सरकार ने कर्फ्यू को लेकर नई गाइडलाइन जारी करते हुए देहरादून में हर शनिवार और रविवार को सख्ती से लॉक डाउन लगाने के आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। जबकि अन्य 12 ज़िलों में सिर्फ रविवार को कोरोना कर्फ्यू रहेगा।

उत्तराखंड में शनिवार को कोरोना ने जमकर कहर मचाया। हर दिन नए संक्रमितों के आंकड़े का रिकॉर्ड तो टूट रहा था, अब मौत के आंकड़े का रिकार्ड भी टूट गया है। 17 अप्रैल की शाम को स्वास्थ्य विभाग की ओर से जारी रिपोर्ट में 2757 नए संक्रमित मिले। साथ ही 37 लोगों की कोरोना से मौत हुई।

शुक्रवार 16 अप्रैल को प्रदेश में एक दिन में 2402 नए संक्रमित मिले थे। वहीं, 17 मौत हुई थी। शनिवार को 802 लोग स्वस्थ हुए और वर्तमान में कोरोना के एक्टिव केस बढ़कर 15386 हो गए हैं। प्रदेश में अब कोरोना के कुल संक्रमितों की संख्या 121403 हो गई है। इनमें 101659 लोग स्वस्थ हो चुके हैं।

अब तक कोरोना से 1856 की मौत हो चुकी है। शनिवार को सर्वाधिक देहरादून में 1179, हरिद्वार में 617, उधमसिंह नगर में 265, नैनीताल में 248, पौड़ी गढ़वाल में 155 नए संक्रमित मिले। टीकाकरण अभियान के तहत शनिवार को 606 केंद्र में 40309 लोगों को टीके लगाए गए।
