देहरादून। हिमाचल और उत्तराखंड के बीच जल्द ही डबल लेन पुल का निर्माण होगा। टोंस नदी पर बनने वाला यह पुल चकराता के क्वानू मीनस मोटर मार्ग से सिरमौर जिले के पाली फराड़ गांव को जोड़ेगा

बताया जा रहा है कि इस डबल लेन पुल निर्माण पर करीब नौ करोड़ रुपये की लागत का अनुमान है। यह खर्च दोनों राज्य बराबर वहन करेंगे।

दोनों राज्यों के बीच पूर्व में सहमति बन चुकी है। सहमति को मूर्त रूप देने के लिए प्रदेश सरकार ने नीतिगत निर्णय ले लिया है। पुल निर्माण की कार्यदायी एजेंसी उत्तराखंड सरकार होगी। हरिपुर इच्छाड़ी, क्वानू मीनस मोटर मार्ग पर सिरमौर जिले के पॉली फराड़ गांव में बनने वाले इस डबल लेन पुल की लम्बाई 105 मीटर होगी।

यह पुल हिमाचल के सियासुखेड़ा-शिलाई लिंक मार्ग से जुड़ेगा। पुल के 80 मीटर पहुंच मार्ग का निर्माण हिमाचल सरकार कराएगी।

यह भी बता दें कि पुल निर्माण को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत और हिमाचल के मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर के बीच पहले ही सहमति बन चुकी थी।

प्रथम चरण के तहत 600 मीटर पहुंच मार्ग के लिए शासन ने 22.26 लाख रुपये की मंजूरी दे दी है। दूसरे चरण के तहत पुल निर्माण की डीपीआर तैयार करने का कार्य चल रहा है।
