देहरादून। उत्तराखंड पवार जूनियर इंजीनियर एसोसिएशन (यूपीजेईए) की यूपीसीएल एवं पिटकुल संयुक्त शाखा के प्रान्तीय महासचिव पवन रावत ने ऊर्जा कार्मिकों को भी फ्रंटलाइन कोरोना वाारियर्स की तरह वैक्सीनेशन करने की मांग की है।
यूपीजेईए के प्रांतीय महासचिव पवन रावत ने यूपीसीएल और पिटकुल के प्रबंध निदेशक को भेजे मांग पत्र में अवगत कराया कि वर्तमान में सम्पूर्ण प्रदेश में कोरोना महामारी का संक्रमण तेजी से फैल रहा है। ऐसे में अनुरक्षण एवं मरम्मत कार्य करने, उपभोक्ता शिकायतों का निस्तारण करने, कैश काउंटर एवं कार्यालयों में आम जनता की आवाजाही के कारण ऊर्जा कार्मिकों में लगातार कोरोना संक्रमण बढ़ रहा है।
उन्होंने बताया कि वितरण क्षेत्र के ऊर्जा कार्मिकों के पास उपभोक्ताओं के बीच कार्य करने के लिये कोरोना किट उपलब्ध नहीं है और फ्रंटलाइन कोरोना वारियर्स के तौर पर उनका वैक्सीनेशन भी नहीं किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि यूपीसीएल एवं पिटकुल के समस्त ऊर्जा कार्मिक सम्पूर्ण मनोयोग एवं सेवाभाव से अपने कार्य क्षेत्रों में डटे हैं, जिससे कि समस्त आपात सेवाओं में विद्युत आपूर्ति सुचारू रहे।
वैक्सीनेशन नहीं होने से राजधानी से लेकर सुदूर दुर्गम पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में तैनात कार्मिकों में संक्रमण तेजी से फैलता जा रहा है। उन्होंने प्रबंधन को अवगत कराया कि कोरोना संक्रमित होने से यूपीसीएल में एक अधिशासी अभियंता, दो उपखंड अधिकारी, एक प्रभारी अवर अभियंता एवं पिटकुल में एक अधिशासी अभियंता की धर्मपत्नी एवं एक अवर अभियंता की जीवन क्षति हो चुकी है।
ऊर्जा के दोनों निगमों के लिए उनके वरिष्ठ एवं अनुभवी कार्मिकों को खोना अपूर्णनीय क्षति है। इससे समस्त ऊर्जा कार्मिकों में भी कोरोना संक्रमण के प्रति डर का माहौल है। वर्तमान में अनेक ऊर्जा कार्मिक एवं उनके परिजन कोरोना संक्रमण परीक्षण में पॉजिटिव पाये जाने पर आइसोलेशन में हैं एवं गम्भीर मानसिक अवसाद से जूझ रहे हैं।
प्रान्तीय महासचिव ने प्रबंधन को यह भी अवगत कराया कि ऊर्जा सचिव के वक्तव्य के अनुसार ऊर्जा कार्मिक पूर्व से ही कोरोना वारियर्स घोषित हैं, लेकिन फिर भी कोरोना वारियर्स के तौर पर उनका वैक्सीनेशन नहीं हो पाया है। इससे समस्त ऊर्जा कार्मिक स्वयं को उपेक्षित महसूस कर रहे हैं।
उन्होंने प्रबंधन से समस्त ऊर्जा कार्मिकों को विधिवत फ्रंटलाइन कोरोना वारियर्स घोषित कराते हुए शीघ्र ही वैक्सीनेशन करने की मांंग की। साथ ही ऊर्जा के जिन कार्यरत कार्मिकों की जीवन क्षति कोरोना संक्रमण से हुई है उनके आश्रितों को शासन द्वारा फ्रंटलाइन कोरोना वारियर्स घोषित कर 50 लाख रुपये की अनुग्रह क्षतिपूर्ति राशि का भुगतान करने के आदेश निर्गत कराने की भी मांग उठाई है।
