देहरादून। कोरोना महामारी में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने पर एसडीआरएफ प्रभारी आईपीएस तृप्ति भट्ट को प्रतिष्ठित स्कॉच अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया गया।

आईजी एसडीआरएफ संजय गुंज्याल ने बताया कि 2020 के स्कॉच अवार्ड की दौड़ में दजामिल एसडीआरएफ उत्तराखंड पुलिस को सिल्वर मेडल से नवाजा गया। बेहतरीन मानवीय कार्यों के लिये राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर एसडीआरएफ को दूसरा स्थान मिला। उन्होंने बताया की इस सम्मान ने राज्य का गौरव बढ़ाया है।

एसडीआरएफ प्रभारी तृप्ति भट्ट ने बताया कि सम्पूर्ण लॉकडाउन और ऑनलाइक प्रकिया M
में एसडीआरएफ ने 6 लाख से अधिक प्रवासियों को अनेक राज्यों से सुरक्षित उत्तराखंड लाकर महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है।

इसके अलावा 70 हजार से अधिक स्टेक होल्डर्स को प्रशिक्षण के साथ कोविड से बचाव सम्बन्धी जानकारी भी दी। बताया कि उत्तराखंड एसडीआरएफ राष्ट्र में पहला पुलिस बल बना, जिसने कोविड प्रशिक्षण टेस्टिंग शुरू किया।

क्या है स्कॉच अवार्ड

स्कॉच अवार्ड की शुरुआत वर्ष 2003 में की गई थी। यह पुरस्कार भारत को बेहतर राष्ट्र बनाने के लिये अतिरिक्त प्रयास करने वाले व्यक्तियों, परियोजनाओं और संस्थानों को प्रदान किया जाता है। यह किसी स्वतंत्र संगठन (SKOCH फाउंडेशन) द्वारा प्रदान किया जाने वाला देश का सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान है। यह पुरस्कार स्वास्थ्य, पुलिस, गवरनेंस, वित्तीय, सामाजिक समावेशन इत्यादि विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रयासों के लिये प्रदान किया जाता है।
