नैनीताल। हाईकोर्ट ने कोरोना के बढ़ते संक्रमण को देखते हुए सभी निचली अदालतों को 16 मई तक बंद रखने का फैसला लिया है। हाईकोर्ट के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल धनन्जय चतुर्वेदी ने शनिवार को अदालतों को बंद करने सम्बंधी अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है।

बता दें कि हाईकोर्ट की ओर से पूर्व में 2 मई तक प्रदेश की जिला न्यायालय समेत सभी निचली अदालतों को बंद रखने के आदेश दिए गए थे। नई अधिसूचना के अनुसार उक्त बंदी को अब 3 से 15 मई तक बढ़ा दिया गया है। 16 मई को रविवार है, जिस कारण अब 17 मई से न्यायिक कार्य की विधिवत शुरुआत हो सकेगी।

अधिसूचना में कहा गया है कि इस अवधि में जमानत और रिमांड के मामले अवकाश के दिनों की भांति ही सुने जाएंगे। यदि कोई अति आवश्यक मामले पर सुनवाई की जरूरत होती है तो उसके लिये जिला जज को ई मेल के जरिये प्रार्थना पत्र देना होगा।

मामलों की अर्जेन्सी पर जिला जज निर्णय लेकर मामले को सुनने के लिये सक्षम जज को भेजेंगे, लेकिन सुनवाई वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग से होगी
