देहरादून। गुरुवार को केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक ने घोषणा की है कि सरकार ने टीचर एलिजिबिलिटी टेस्ट (TET) क्वालिफाइंग सर्टिफिकेट का वैलिडिटी पीरियड सात साल से बढ़ाकर लाइफ टाइम करने का फैसला किया है।

निशंक ने कहा यह टीचिंग फिल्ड में करियर बनाने के इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों के लिए रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक कदम होगा।

शिक्षा मंत्रालय के अनुसार ये फैसला 10 साल पहले से लागू किया गया है। यानी इन सालों के दरम्यान जिनके भी प्रमाण-पत्रों का पीरियड पूरा हो चुका है वे भी अब शिक्षक भर्ती परीक्षा के लिए एलिजिबल होंगे।

निशंक ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश उन उम्मीदवारों को नए सिरे से टीईटी प्रमाण पत्र (TET) जारी करने या जारी करने के लिए आवश्यक कार्रवाई करेंगे, जिनकी 7 वर्ष की अवधि पहले ही समाप्त हो चुकी है। उन्होंने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक शिक्षा

परिषद (एनसीटीई) के 11 फरवरी 2011 के दिशा-निर्देशों में किया गया है, जिसमें यह निर्धारित किया गया था कि टीईटी (TET) राज्य सरकारों द्वारा आयोजित की जाएगी और टीईटी प्रमाणपत्र की वैधता पास करने की तारीख से 7 वर्ष थी।
