कांग्रेस पार्टी की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी फिलहाल इस पद पर बनी रहेंगी। आज हुई कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति की बैठक में पार्टी नेताओं ने सोनिया गांधी से अगली व्यवस्था होने तक अंतरिम अध्यक्ष बने रहने का अनुरोध किया जिसे उन्होंने स्वीकार कर लिया।

कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति के सदस्य पीएल पूनिया ने इस बात की जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि कांग्रेस का अगला अधिवेशन छह महीने के भीतर बुलाया जा सकता है और तब नए अध्यक्ष का चुनाव किया जाएगा। पूनिया ने कहा कि कार्यसमिति की बैठक में कांग्रेस के सीनियर नेताओं की चिट्ठी की बात मीडिया में आने पर चिंता जताई गई।

उन्होंने कहा कि सभी को अपनी बात रखने का पूरा अधिकतार है मगर इसके लिए पार्टी फोरम सही मंच है। कार्यसमिति की बैठक के दौरान राहुल गांधी के एक कथित बयान को लेकर भी काफी चर्चा रही।

मीडिया में आई कुछ रिपोर्ट्स में कहा गया कि राहुल गांधी ने चिट्ठी लिखने वीले नेताओं पर भाजपा से सांठ-गांठ का आरोप लगाया है जिसके बाद पार्टी के सीनियर नेता कपिल सिब्बल ने नाराजगी जताते हुए ट्वीट किया जिसे उन्होंने बाद में राहुल गांधी से बात होना का हवाला देते हुए हटा दिया।

सिब्बल ने पहले ट्वीट में लिखा, ‘राहुल गांधी कहते हैं कि हमारी बीजेपी के साथ मिली भगत है। राजस्थान हाई कोर्ट में कांग्रेस का सफलता पूर्वक बचाव किया. मणिपुर में बीजेपी की सरकार गिराने के लिए पार्टी का बचाव किया। पिछले 30 साल में कभी भी किसी भी मुद्दे पर बीजेपी के पक्ष में बयान नहीं दिया। फिर भी हमारी बीजेपी के साथ मिली भगत हैं!’

सिब्बल ने दूसरे ट्वीट में लिखा, ‘मुझसे राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि उन्होंने ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं कहा है जैसा मीडिया में कहा जा रहा है। मैं अपना वो ट्वीट वापस लेता हूं।’

इसके बाद पार्टी नेता गुलाम नबी आजाद ने ट्वीट किया, ‘मीडिया के एक हलके में ये गलत कहा जा रहा है कि कार्यसमिति की बैठक में मैंने राहुल गांधी से कहा कि वो ये साबित करें कि हमने जो चिट्ठी लिखी वो बीजेपी से सांठ-गांठ के बाद लिखी। मैं ये बात बिल्कुल स्पष्ट कर देना चाहता हूं कि राहुल गांधी ने ना तो कार्यसमिति और ना ही उसके बाहर कभी ये कहा कि ये चिट्ठी बीजेपी की वजह से लिखी गई है।’

दरअसल कार्य समिति की बैठक से ठीक पहले मीडिया में यह बात आई थी कि कांग्रेस के 23 बड़े नेताओं की सोनिया गांधी को चिट्ठी लिख कर नेतृत्व परिवर्तन समेत कई अहम बदलावों की मांग की है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक चिट्ठी में कपिल सिब्बल, शशि थरूर, गुलाम नबी आजाद, पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण, आनंद शर्मा आदि नेताओं के हस्ताक्षर हैं।
