रामनगर। यहां रामनगर (नैनीताल) में देर रात्रि को उत्तराखंड रोडवेज डिपो में खड़ी तीन बसें एक वन धू-धूं कर जलने लगीं। आग लगने की सूचना पाकर फायर ब्रिगेड मौके पर पहुंची। काफी प्रयास के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया। हालांकि तब तक तीन बसंत काफी जल चुके थे।

इस संबंध में रोडवेज स्टेशन इंचार्ज नवीन आर्य ने बताया कि आग लगने के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है। पुलिस ने एक संदिग्ध को पकड़ा है, जिस पर आग लगाने का शक है। उससे हस्तक्षेप की जा रही है।

फायर ब्रिगेड की वजह से डिपो में खड़ी अन्य बसों तक आग नहीं पहुंच पाई। आग लगने से आस-पास अफरा तफरी मच गई थी। गनीमत यह रही कि आग पर समय पर काबू कर लिया गया, अन्यथा बड़ा हादसा हो सकता था।
