ऋषिकेश। मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने आई.डी.पी.एल ऋषिकेश में रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संस्थान (डीआरडीओ) द्वारा स्थापित 500 बेड के अस्थाई कोविड केयर सेंटर (राइफलमैन जसवंत सिंह रावत, एम.वी.सी) का उद्घाटन किया। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने कोविड केयर सेंटर की सभी व्यवस्थाओं का निरीक्षण भी किया।

आधुनिक सुविधायुक्त इस कोविड केयर सेंटर में सभी बेड ऑक्सीजन युक्त हैं। 100 बेड में आईसीयू की व्यवस्था भी है। इसमें म्यूकरमायोसिस (ब्लैक फंगस) के मरीजों एवं बच्चों के लिए भी अलग से वार्ड बनाये गये हैं। बच्चों के वार्ड में स्तनपान कराने वाली माताओं के लिए भी आईसोलेशन एरिया बनाया गया है।

मात्र 2 सप्ताह में डीआडीओ द्वारा इसे तैयार किया गया है। इस कोविड केयर सेंटर का क्लीनिकल मैनेजमेंट एम्स ऋषिकेश द्वारा किया जायेगा। मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने इस कोविड केयर सेंटर की स्थापना के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी एवं रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह का आभार व्यक्त किया।

मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने कहा कि कोविड पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण के लिए राज्य सरकार द्वारा हर संभव प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। राज्य में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं में तेजी से वृद्धि की गई है। ऑक्सीजन, वेंटिलेटर आईसीयू एवं ऑक्सीजन बेड की पर्याप्त उपलब्धता है। जल्द ही हल्द्वानी में भी 500 बेड का कोविड केयर सेंटर बनकर तैयार हो जायेगा।

आई.डी.पी. एल ऋषिकेश में राइफलमैन जसवंत सिंह रावत, एम. वी.सी के नाम से यह कोविड केयर सेंटर बनाया गया। मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ ने कहा कि राइफलमैन जसवंत सिंह रावत ने 1962 भारत-चीन युद्ध में अपने अदम्य साहस का परिचय दिया। इस युद्ध में वे शहीद हो गए थे। पौड़ी के बीरोखाल के बाड्यू पट्टी में जन्मे जसवंत सिंह रावत की वीरता की कहानी आज भी सबको प्रेरणा देती है।

इस अवसर पर विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेमचन्द अग्रवाल, सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी, मेयर ऋषिकेश नगर निगम अनीता ममगाई, एम्स ऋषिकेश के निदेशक प्रो. रविकान्त, जिलाधिकारी देहरादून डॉ. आशीष श्रीवास्तव, डिप्टी मेडिकल सुप्रिटेंडेन्ट एम्स ऋषिकेश डॉ. मधुर उनियाल एवं डीआडीओ के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
