देहरादून। उत्तराखंड और अन्य राज्यों के हिंदी भाषी युवाओं के लिए इंजीनियरिंग करके भविष्य संवारने की एक राह खुल गई है। अपने सामाजिक सरोकारों और विश्व स्तरीय शिक्षा के लिए पहचानी जाने वाली ग्राफिक ऐरा डीम्ड यूनिवर्सिटी को केंद्र सरकार ने इसके लिए चुना है। नैक में ‘ए’ ग्रेड पाने और देश के टॉप सौ विश्वविद्यालयों की केंद्र सरकार की सूची में स्थान पाने के बाद यह ग्राफिक एरा की एक बड़ी कामयाबी है।

केंद्र सरकार ने ग्राफिक एरा डीम्ड यूनिवर्सिटी को देश के उन 14 चुनिंदा संस्थानों में शामिल किया है, जहां अब क्षेत्रीय भाषा में भी इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ायी कराई जाएगी। केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री श्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने ट्विट करके ए.आई.सी.टी.ई. के इस फैसले की सराहना की है और इसे नई शिक्षा नीति से जुड़ा कदम बताया है।

ए.आई.सी.टी.ई. ने हिंदी के साथ ही क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं मराठी, तमिल, तेलगु, कन्नड, गुजराती, मलयालम, बंगाली, असमी, पंजाबी और उडिया में इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ायी शुरू करने के लिए यह कदम उठाया है।

देशभर के विवि में ग्राफिक एरा को मिली सबसे ज्यादा 180 सीटें

ए.आई.सी.टी.ई. ने आठ राज्यों के 14 संस्थानों को इन भाषाओं में इंजीनियरिंग की शिक्षा शुरू करने की अनुमति दी है। उत्तराखंड राज्य से केवल ग्राफिक एरा डीम्ड यूनिवर्सिटी को इस नई पहल के लिए चुना गया है। देश भर में ग्राफिक एरा को सबसे ज्यादा 180 सीटों पर यह शुरूआत करने के लिए अधिकृत किया गया है।

ग्राफिक एरा डीम्ड यूनिवर्सिटी में कम्पयूटर साईंस इंजीनियरिंग, इलेक्ट्रानिक एंड कम्युनिकेशन इंजीनियरिंग और मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग कोर्स अब साठ-साठ सीटों के साथ हिंदी में भी चलाये जाएंगे। ए.आई.सी.टी.ई. ने उ.प्र., राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश, आंध्र प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, पश्चिम बंगाल और तमिलनाडु के चुनिंदा संस्थानों को यह अवसर दिया है।

हिंदी माध्यम के विद्यार्थियों के लिए खुले द्वार

ग्राफिक एरा एजुकेशनल ग्रुप के अध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर डॉ. कमल घनशाला ने ए.आई.सी.टी.ई. की इस पहल का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि इससे हिंदी माध्यम से शिक्षा पाने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए सूचना प्राद्योगिकी, कम्प्यूटर साईंस इंजीनियरिंग और मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग जैसे क्षेत्र खुल गए हैं।

हिंदी माध्यम से 12वीं तक की शिक्षा पाने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए हिंदी में इंजीनियरिंग करने के अवसर न होने के कारण उन्हें मजबूरन दूसरे क्षेत्रों में जाना पड़ता था। इस कारण काफी प्रतिभाशाली युवाओं का इंजीनियर बनने का सपना पूरा नहीं हो पाता था।

अब ऐसी प्रतिभाएं भी कामयाबी के नए आयाम स्थापित कर सकेंगी। डॉ. घनशाला ने बताया कि इसी सत्र में हिंदी माध्यम से भी इंजीनियरिंग की शिक्षा शुरू की जाएगी। इसके लिए तैयारियां तेज कर दी गई हैं।
