नैनीताल। तेलंगाना के चीफ जस्टिस राघवेन्द्र सिंह चौहान अब उत्तराखण्ड के चीफ जस्टिस के रूप में नैनीताल हाई कोर्ट में अपनी सेवाएं देंगे. चौहान ने आज राजभवन में शपथ ग्रहण की.
सादे कार्यक्रम में राज्यपाल बेबीरानी मौर्य ने चीफ़ जस्टिस को शपथ दिलाई. इस दौरान मुख्य मंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत , काबीना मंत्री मदन कौशिक, अरविंद पांडेय, सुबोध उनियाल, राज्यमंत्री धन सिंह रावत समेत सभी अधिकारी कार्यक्रम में मौजूद रहे.

चीफ जस्टिस राघवेन्द्र सिंह चौहान काफी अनुभवी हैं. इससे पहले श्री चौहान तेलांगना हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस थे।मौजूदा जानकारी के अनुसार चीफ जस्टिस राघवेन्द्र सिंह का जन्म 24 दिसम्बर 1959 में हुआ था। जिसके बाद उन्होंने 1980 में यूएसए की अरकाडिया यूनिवर्सिटी से ग्रेजुएशन की। ग्रेजुएशन के बाद चौहान ने राजस्थान से अपने कैरियर की शुरुआत की। राघवेन्द्र सिंह चौहान क्रिमिनल एण्ड सर्विस मामलों में निपुण रहे हैं। पढ़ाई के बाद चौहान 13 जून 2005 को राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट के एडिशनल जज बने। जिसके बाद 24 जनवरी 2008 को वह पदोन्नित के बाद परमानेन्ट जज बने। 10 मार्च 2015 को उनका ट्रांसफर कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट में हो गया। जिसके बाद 8 नवंबर को ट्रांसफर के बाद वह तेलांगना में भी रहे। अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान 3 अप्रैल 2019 को वह तेलांगना हाईकोर्ट के कार्यवाहक चीफ जस्टिस बने। तदउपरांत 22 जून 2019 को वह तेलांगना हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस बने। अपने इस लम्बे कार्यकाल के दौरान अब उनकी नियुक्ति नैनीताल हाईकोर्ट में हुई है, जहां वह आज अपना कार्यभार ग्रहण करेंगे।
