कोरोना महामारी के चलते 24 मार्च को घोषित हुए देशव्यापी लॉकडाउन के अब तक उत्तराखंड में नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों से आठ करोड़ रुपये से भी अधिक (8.28 करोड़ रुपये) का जुर्माना वसूला जा चुका है।
इस अवधि में उत्तराखंड पुलिस ने अलग-अलग नियमों के उल्लंघन में यह राशि जुर्माने के रूप में वसूली है। इस दौरान मास्क ना पहनने पर अब तक 105544 लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की गई।
सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग के उल्लंघन पर 9497 लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई हुई। क्वारंटाइन नियमों का उल्लंघन करने पर 765 लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की गई। सोशल मीडिया के जरिए अफवाह फैलाने पर 211 लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की गई।
लॉकडाउन-1 से अब तक पुलिस एक्ट के तहत 1.68 करोड़, मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट के तहत 5.60 करोड़ और डीएम एक्ट और महामारी विनियमावली के तहत 99.33 लाख का जुर्माना वसूला गया।
पुलिस महानिदेशक अपराध और कानून व्यवस्था अशोक कुमार ने बताया कि लॉकडाउन तथा सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ लगातार कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
