उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने देहरादून स्थित दून विश्वविद्यालय में स्कूल ऑफ सिनेमेटिक स्टडीज की स्थापना करते हुए फिल्म शिक्षा पर कोर्स प्रारम्भ किए जाने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

उन्होंने इसके लिए विशेषज्ञों का एक वर्किंग ग्रुप बना कर उसमें फिल्म जगत व फिल्म शिक्षा के अनुभवी लोगों को नामित करने के निर्देश दिए।

साथ ही उन्होंने प्रसिद्ध राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की शिक्षण संस्थाओं द्वारा संचालित पाठ्यक्रमों का अध्ययन कर कोर्स डिजाइन करने को भी कहा।

उन्होंने कहा कि फिल्म एजुकेशन से फिल्म जगत के विभिन्न पहलुओं की जानकारी लोगों को मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि पाठ्यक्रम आने वाले समय में फिल्म उद्योग की मांग के अनुरूप हों और सिनेमा के विविध आयामों को समावेशित करने वाला हो।

उन्होंने कहा कि इसमें स्नातक डिग्री और लॉजिस्टिक प्रोडक्शन के सर्टिफिकेट और डिप्लोमा कोर्स भी संचालित किए जा सकते हैं।

इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने फिल्म शूटिंग की ऑनलाइन अनुमति के लिए पोर्टल का शुभारम्भ भी किया। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में प्रतिभाओं की कमी नहीं हैं, युवाओं की प्रतिभा को कैसे उजागर किया जाय, इस दिशा में कार्य करने की जरूरत है।

उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य में सिनेमा के क्षेत्र में रोजगार की अपार संभावनाएं हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड का नैसर्गिक सौन्दर्य फिल्म शूटिंग के लिए अनुकूल है।

उन्होंने कहा किसिनेमा के क्षेत्र में राज्य में युवाओं को अच्छा वातावरण मिलना जरूरी है। इस अवसर पर महानिदेशक सूचना डीकिटर मेहरबान सिंह बिष्ट ने राज्य की फिल्म नीति के सबंध में प्रस्तुतिकरण दिया।
