देहरादून । मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने एसटीपीआई बिल्डिंग, आईटी पार्क, देहरादून में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में सीनियर सीटिजन नेशनल हेल्पलाईन एल्डरलाईन 14567 का उत्तराखण्ड में शुभारंभ किया।

केंद्र सरकार के सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्रालय और उत्तराखण्ड सरकार के द्वारा वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के कल्याण के लिए हेल्पलाइन नम्बर 14567 शुरू किया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के विजन सबका साथ, सबका विकास, सबका विश्वास के अनुरूप यह हेल्पलाईन बुजुर्गों की समस्याओं के निदान में सहायक होगी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि बुजुर्गों की सहायता के लिये सभी को आगे आना चाहिए। इसके लिये जनजागरूकता बहुत जरूरी है। उत्तराखण्ड के दूरस्थ व पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में बङी संख्या में वरिष्ठ जन एकाकी जीवन जी रहे हैं। हमें उन सभी तक पहुंचना है और उनकी समस्याओं का समाधान करना है।

सीएम तीरथ रावत ने कहा कि ग्राम स्तर तक जागरूकता लानी जरूरी है। वरिष्ठ जनों के कल्याण के लिए संचालित योजनाओं और कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी ग्राम स्तर तक दी जाए। इसके लिए आम जन की भागीदारी जरूरी है।
