देहरादून/टनकपुर। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की ओर से एक साथ की गई तीन घोषणाओं से राज्य के ग्राम प्रधानों की बांछे खिली हुई हैं। उनके मानदेय में लगभग 70 फीसद बढ़ोतरी, कोरोना वॉरियर का दर्जा मिलना और आकस्मिक निधि से 10 हजार रुपया खर्च करने का अधिकार मिलने पर ग्राम प्रधानों ने मुख्यमंत्री धामी का आभार जताया है।
उत्तराखंड ग्राम प्रधान संगठन लंबे समय से ग्राम प्रधानों का मानदेय बढ़ाने की मांग कर रहा है। प्रत्येक प्रधान को 1500 रूपये मानदेय सरकार की ओर से दिया जाता है, जो उनकी जिम्मेदारियों के लिहाज से बेहद कम है। प्रधानों की इस समस्या को समझते हुए मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने एक झटके में उनका मानदेय बढ़ाकर 3500 रूपया प्रतिमाह कर दिया।
इतना ही नहीं टनकपुर में आयोजित एक सभा में मुख्यमंत्री ने कोरोना नियंत्रण में ग्राम प्रधानों की भूमिका को जमकर सराहा। उन्होंने कहा कि लॉकडाउन में फ्रंट फुट पर आकर ग्राम प्रधानों ने कोरोना का संक्रमण रोकने में यथासंभव योगदान दिया, जिसमें उन्होंने अपने और अपने परिजनों के जान की परवाह भी नहीं की और फिर मुख्यमंत्री ने ग्राम प्रधानों को कोरोना वॉरियर घोषित कर दिया।
ग्राम प्रधानों की जिम्मेदारियों को बेहद व्यापक बताते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने उन्हें आकस्मिक निधि से 10 हजार रूपए खर्च करने का अधिकार दिया। भारत वर्ष में उत्तराखण्ड पहला ऐसा राज्य है जिसमें ग्राम प्रधानों को ऐसा वित्तीय अधिकार दिया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के इस फैसले की ग्राम प्रधान जमकर सराहना कर रहे हैं।
