नई दिल्ली/देहरादून। करीब तीन महीने पहले उत्तराखंड के नए मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में कमान संभालने वाले तीरथ सिंह रावत ने पार्टी आलाकमान से मुलाकात के बाद इस्तीफा दे दिया है।
तीरथ सिंह रावत से राज्य के कई नेता नाराज चल रहे थे ऐसे में पार्टी आलाकमान ने उन्हें दिल्ली बुलाया था. जहां पार्टी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा से मुलाकात के बाद उन्होंने देहरादून लौटने से पहले ही इस्तीफा दे दिया।
तीरथ के इस्तीफा देने से उत्तराखंड बीजेपी में राजनीतिक संकट खड़ा हो गया है। अब उत्तराखंड में मुख्यमंत्री के लिए पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत, सतपाल महाराज और धन सिंह रावत के नाम की चर्चा है।
सीएम बनने के महज 111 दिन के भीतर ही तीरथ ने दिल्ली में हाईकमान को पद से इस्तीफा देने के बाद वह कुछ ही देर पहले जौलीग्रांट पहुंचे। अब वह राज्यपाल को इस्तीफा सौंपेंगे।
उनके इस्तीफे के पीछे की वजह संवैधानिक संकट पैदा होना बताया गया है। राज्य में सियासी हलचल के बीच रावत ने जेपी नड्डा से मुलाकात भी की थी।
तीरथ सिंह रावत ने पत्र में कहा है कि आर्टिकल 164-ए के हिसाब से उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री बनने के बाद छ महीने में विधानसभा का सदस्य बनना था, लेकिन आर्टिकल 151 कहता है अगर विधानसभा चुनाव में एक वर्ष से कम का समय बचता है तो वहा पर उप-चुनाव नहीं कराए जा सकते हैं।
तीरथ ने नड्डा को इस्तीफे में लिखा है की उत्तराखंड में संवैधानिक संकट न खड़ा हो, इसलिए मैं मुख्यमंत्री के पद से इस्तीफा देना चाहता हूं। उत्तराखंड विधायक दल की बैठक के लिए कल पर्यवेक्षकों के तौर पर केंद्र मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर देहरादून जाएंगे। दरअसल, उत्तराखंड में अगले साल विधानसभा चुनाव होने वाले हैं।
