देहरादून। सोमवार को आदेश के बाद आज मंगलवार को उत्तराखंड के नए सीएस बने आईएएस  डॉ. सुखबीर सिंह संधू ने 17वें मुख्य सचिव के तौर पर कार्यभार संभाल लिया है।
इस दौरान सचिवालय में मीडिया से बातबीच करते हुए नए मुख्य सचिव डॉ. संधू ने प्राथमिकताएं गिनाते हुए कहा कि कोविड से सबसे ज्यादा रोजगाा रप्रभावित हुआ है। हमें ज्यादा से ज्यादा जोर देना है कि रोजगार कैसे बढ़ाया जाए। कहा कि सरकार की जो भी नीतियां हैं उनको प्राथमिकता से लागू कराया जाएगा।

 

उन्होंने कहा कि आपदा उत्तराखंड में नई बात नहीं है। इसलिए उससे निपटने की व्यवस्था की समीक्षा करेंगे। ताकि कम से कम नुकसान हो। कहा कि मैंने अपनी टीम से चर्चा की है कि फाइलों की रफ्तार बनी रहे। हमारा मकसद है कि सरकार की योजनाओं को जनता तक धरातल पर पहुंचाना है।

दिल्ली से दून का सफर जल्द दो घंटे में होगा तय

मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि चारधाम ऑल वेदर रोड पर काम तेजी से चल रहा है। न्यायालय के आदेश के चलते कुछ विलंब हुआ था लेकिन अब काम दोबारा से चल रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं सोमवार को दिल्ली से देहरादून 3.30 घंटे में आया हूं। हाईवे का काम तेजी से पूरा हो रहा है। जल्द ही दिल्ली से देहरादून दो घंटे में आ सकेंगे।

तेजतर्रार अफसरों में गिने जाते हैं संधू

अभी तक संधू केंद्र में प्रतिनियुक्ति पर थे। उनका केंद्र सरकार में सचिव पद के लिए इंपैनलमेंट हो रखा है। वे अक्तूबर 2019 में भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) के चेयरमैन बने, जनवरी 21 तक उनका कार्यकाल था। केंद्र सरकार ने 31 जुलाई 2021 तक का सेवा विस्तार दे दिया था।

यह भी बता देंं कि डॉ.संधू केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्रालय में अपर सचिव उच्च शिक्षा थे। वह  2011 तक पंजाब सरकार में प्रतिनियुक्ति पर रहे। वह ऊधमसिंह नगर जिले के पहले कलेक्टर भी रहे। उन्होंने पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जनरल बीसी खंडूड़ी, विजय बहुगुणा और हरीश रावत के सचिव का दायित्व भी निभाया। बादल सरकार में वह मुख्यमंत्री के सचिव रहे। उत्तराखंड सरकार में उन्हें लोनिवि, कार्मिक, औद्योगिक विकास समेत कई महत्वपूर्ण विभागों का अनुभव रहा।
