मणिपुर से एक हृदय विदारक खबर आई है, जहां उग्रवादियों से लोहा लेता उत्तराखंड का एक जांबाज देश के लिए शहीद हो गया। खबर सुनते ही पूरे राज्य में शोक की लहर दौड़ पड़ी।

बता दें कि 39 असम राइफल के जवान 24 साल के हर्षपति सिंह पुत्र बलवंत सिंह निवासी ग्राम भैंसोडा पोस्ट पांड, पोखरा, चौबटाखाल पौड़ी का रहने वाला था।  हर्ष पाल आजकल मणिपुर में तैनात थे।

बताया जा रहा कि ड्यूटी पर तैनात जवानों पर उग्रवादियों ने एकाएक हमला बोला, जिसमें तीन जवान शहीद हो गए, इनमें एक पौड़ी गढ़वाल का हर्षपतिभी शामिल था।

खबर सुनते ही गाँव और पूरे पौड़ी  क्षेत्र में शोक और सन्नाटा छा गया है। हर्षपाल सिंह की शादी मई में होनी थी, लेकिन लॉकडाउन की वजह से अब अक्टुबर में होनी थी।

हर्षपाल सिंह माता पिता के इकलौते पुत्र थे और उनकी 4 बहने हैं, जिनकी शादी हो चुकी है। शहादत की खबर जैसे ही उनके घर पहुंची, तो वहां मातम पसर गया है।

परिवार वाले सदमे में हैं। गांव में शोक छा गया है। गांव के लोगों का शहीद के घर पहुंचने का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया है।
